Dr. Bestandji grew up watching her father practice dentistry; even as a child, she found teeth and caring for them to be interesting. As she entered college, her love of arts and sciences intertwined with her growing fascination for oral health. After graduating from Rutgers, she went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey in 2010.

After our Princeton dental office closes for the day, Dr. Bestandji enjoys spending her time with her husband and two children, a son and a daughter. She has many interests and hobbies to pursue with them, including cooking, travelling, swimming, and shopping, as well as her lifetime love of art and sculpture. But her patients might be surprised to find out that Dr. Bestandji is also a lover of thrilling experiences, like zip lining! Shes also fluent in multiple languages, including French and Arabic. And heres another interesting tidbit: shes one of the 10% of New Jersey population who is left handed!

In early 2017, she purchased Canal Vista Family Dental from its the previous owner, who established a practice in our location over 25 years ago. I took my daughter there for her first visit to the dentist ever and it went remarkably well. The staff is very courteous and friendly. I was apprehensive as she had to get a procedure but the dentist and her assistant are amazing at what they do and my daughter left super happy. Never thought it would go so well!

I used to dread going to the dentist but I dont have to anymore. They are the nicest group of people; every single one of them has been warm and friendly from the moment I walk in the door. They always check to make sure that Im doing okay during my visit and that Im comfortable. And they always take me into the room right away. Ive never waited more than a few minutes. Its hard finding a good dentist but this is a great one.

This office is conveniently located near the Market Fair Mall in Princeton NJ. The office is very clean and inviting. The staff is very professional, friendly and very Helpful. I took my 7 years old daughter for a canine extraction because she needs a Lower Expander, and Dr. Bestandji was very patient, caring and detailed. My daughter did not even know when Dr. B took her tooth out. I am very thankful that Dr. Bestandji because she made my daughters dental experience unbelievable.
