I was skeptical about going to the dentist again, because of a huge bill from my previous dentist. After going through reviews on Yelp and double checking with TANG center, I took an appointment with Campus Dental Care and I have to say I was very surprised. Office manager helped me understand my SHIP benefits during my appointment, everything was friendly and professional. My first impression was I liked the feel of the office, which was very clean and welcoming. When I met with Dr. Nima, I was very grateful for his honest and pressure free opinion on a care plan. I am so happy with this place and the way they do business that I will continue to see them. I received an amazing value and service upon my past few visits and I trust this team with all my future dental work. Check them out!

Almost everyone can recount a bad experience at the dentist in the past and it can be hard to understand why some dental procedures need to be done, especially if nothing hurts. But I gave this clinic a chance and they changed my mind!! Dr.Nima and his staff are exceptional. They went above and beyond in explaining the treatment. They also took pictures not just Xrays of my teeth to show me the problems. More importantly they treated me with respect. Fees were explained to me in detail by comparing what SHIP covvered and what I was responsible for. From your first visit, you can tell how friendly they are. A rather professional place with someone to always assist you. This is probably the nicest dental office I have ever been to. I had a great experience with this place and figured i share it. If you come in with an open mind, they'll give you the best dental experience you ever had. Thank you Drs and Nurses

So so so happy that I visited here. Dr.Nima creates such a welcoming environment for all. I could see how everyone was so receptive to him. He reduced my nervousness by maintaining such a calm and joyful attitude. Funny at times. Everyone was very considerate of my needs and assured that I am comfortable before starting the procedure. If you're nervous about going to the dentist, look no further. This is the place to go to! I am so pleased with Dr.Nima's work and I cannot thank him enough for his amazing skills! I highly recommend this office to anyone who wants easy and fair dental care. I am thankful for the Tang Center for sending me to you guys. By the way, I used my SHIP insurance since I'm a CAL student, seems like their computer system is directly connected to SHIP or our dental insurance whatever that is! All fees were exactly what I reviewed from my side. Couldn't be happier :) Great and caring people.

Best Dentist in the world! This place is incredible, great staff, easy to schedule, and best dentist in the business. I came here very stressed and worried about the amount of work I needed to get done, but the staff worked with me to figure out the best plan of attack. They also worked hard to save me financially but also give my teeth the best care they could. Couldn't recommend this place more.

You make an appointment and when you get there, you wait an extra hour till they call you. What's the point of making an appointment then? Very disappointing

I was FORCED to sign a bill ($300 increase) while I was drowsy, dizzy, and unable to speak a single word due to side effect of 15 shots of local anesthesia during the oral surgery. My initial visit (check-up) was on Mar 15 2022. On the treatment plan, the cost for wisdom teeth removal was $1366 before the insurance and $683.6 after the insurance coverage. My wisdom teeth removal (all 4) oral surgery was on April 27th 10am. When I first arrive the clinic, the front reception lady told me the cost will be $726.4 after the insurance because the plan changed. They just added consultation fee again, which had already paid during my initial visit. After checking in, an assistant took me to the oral surgery room. I met oral surgeon Dhaval Patel. Hegave me about 15 shots of anesthesia in my mouth. Because of this was my first time, I felt dizzy and drowsy after many shots of anesthesia. I also have trypanophobia (scared of needles), so I became almost unconscious. My mouth was also very numb, I could not speak a single word after the anesthesia shots. Then, he brought a new bill to me and told me to sign or he would not do the surgery. The total price was $915.6, which is approximately $300 more than the original price. I was dizzy, drowsy, lack of consciousness at that time but was forced to sign the paper. I had no energy to understand the situation, nor I could not ask the detail of the new price because my mouth was too numb. This place is unethical, lack of morals and integrity of being a dentist. Forcing people to sign a bill while they are in the vulnerable situation is illegal. Also, he did this to me probably because I am 5ft tall, female, Asian and international student. I asked my other friends (local, male) about their wisdom teeth prices at here and it turned out to be normal. They discriminates the price based on how vulnerable you look.

It all started with a bad tooth ache, went to TANG center and they sent me over here. Dr. Nima did examination of my mouth and the staff took some xrays and pictures. Dr. Nima told me that the pain is from my gum not my tooth!!! That was such a surprise to me!!! I thought I had a tooth ache and he insisted with full confidence that the pain was coming from the gum. I trusted him and he did a special cleaning around the pain area. I left with paying no fees since SHIP covered it all! Here I am 4 days later and the pain is all gone. I hate going to the dentist but I have to admit that my experience was fantastic all around. The fact that I thought there was a major issue with one of my teeth and it turned out to be just a small problem, itself, was such a blessing. Dr. Nima's honesty and quick fix along with pleasant environwmt and nice staff, makes me want to visit them every 6 months for my routine check ups going forward. I give this place 100.

This was my second visit to Campus Dental Care. The first visit was about a month ago to get my teeth cleaned and xrays done. They gave me a free electric tooth brush with my student ID. Basically a free 1st visit ride :) I love that tooth brush. Both appointments went smoothly. Dr. Nima started a crown on the bottom molar, my filling was too large and I saw it on the X-ray it was very cool when looking at it on the computer screen! Absolutely no complaints. The office staff were all very pleasant and Dr. Nima was gentle and considerate. I am now scheduled with Dr. Patel the oral surgeon to take care of my wisdom teeth. CAL rocks with SHIP so does Campus Dental crew.

I went for a general cleaning and check up. The office was orderly and the staff were friendly and helpful. I appreciated the screenings and precautions that they are taking for covid as well. The location right next to campus is also very convenient.

The dental hygienist was excessively aggresive with my cleaning that I had done during an annual checkup. My gums were poked and hurt way too many times and the hygienist did not even acknowledge my pain. I felt generally unwelcomed. I've been diagnosed with gum disease by a couple other dentists with concerning levels of bone loss and gum recession, yet the dentist here did not even notice. I do not recommend this service.

I have ben a patient of Dr. Needham for over a decade. He is very skilled, very friendly and courteous and fully focused on the needs of his patients. He always listens well, shares his knowledge with you and makes you a true partner in your care. He works with some very skilled specialists and you can always count on his advice and referrals. I had to try other providers due to breaks in my insurance coverage, and I can easily say that he is the best provider you can find in the Bay Area. Also kudos to his efficient and friendly staff.
