Dr. Vanitha Gowda Ardila grew up in Baltimore, Maryland. She received her B.A. degree in Biology from The University of Maryland Baltimore County. In 1995, she graduated from The University of Maryland Dental School. She then completed a year of Residency at the Audie Murphy VA Hospital in San Antonio, Texas with a focus on implants, dental surgery and cosmetic dentistry and geriatric dentistry.
She volunteers regularly at the Richardson Network Dental Clinic. On Tuesdays, Dr. Gowda Ardila can be found working with our super seniors providing much needed dental care through Mobile Dental Care, in nursing homes throughout Richardson and Plano.
She has a great passion to advance her learning of dentistry and orthodontics and can be found on many weekends taking continuing education courses when she is not travelling with her family for tennis tournaments. She is married to her husband, Luis Ardila and they have four children: Luis (23), Daniel (15), Aasha (14), Landon (12). She loves the outdoors and would love to find more time to garden and play tennis.
Sherri was born in Beeville, TX and grew up traveling with her family until they settled down in Pasadena, TX when she was in the 6th grade. Since a freshman in high school, she developed a passion for the dental field. She is a certified dental assistant, but her major role is to be the first friendly encounter with the office. Sherri does it all, answers phones, verifies insurance, and makes sure the office is running smoothly. She is a local to Richardson and has been involved in the community for many years, it never surprises that she knows everyone in the area. She enjoys working with Dr. Ardila because of her expertise in dentistry and her keen sense of concern with the patients overall health. When Sherri isnt helping all patients that come through the door she loves to spend time with her family, attending church, exercising, and going on vacations. One of her most favorite things to do during her free time is going out to eat mexican food while enjoying a refreshing margarita!
Tania has been with Campbell Family Dentistry & Orthodontics since 2015. She is Dr. Ardilas dental assistant, she makes sure rooms are prepped for any procedures that have to be done each day. Tania was born in Honduras and is fluent in Spanish to help any of our bilingual patients. She chose this career because she feels that everybody deserves a beautiful smile. Tania enjoys working with the whole team, learning new skills and always striving to give patients the best service possible, while helping them with their oral health. On her spare time Tania loves to play softball with friends and family and dabbles in photography from time to time.
Angie is our amazing dental hygienist! She was born and raised in Oklahoma and became interested in the dental field since she was in high school. She attended the University of Oklahoma, BOOMER SOONER, and graduated from Rose State College. In her early years Angie worked as a flight attendant for American Airlines, but always kept her eye on her main goal of working in the dental field. She has had the privilege of practicing as a Registered Dental Hygienist for more than 20 years. Angie really enjoys working with patients and developing relationships with each one, while caring for their dental needs. She is always making sure to stay on top of her dental education by taking several CE courses every year. She does her best to educate patients on why it is important to stay healthy and how to achieve being healthy. You will notice her attention to detail, she treats all patients as if they were her family members. Angie is a breast cancer survivor and very thankful for being here. She was blessed with one daughter with her husband Ken. The family does not stop there, she has two wonderful dogs, Mr. Boo and Lola, and a bunny named Lyla. On her spare time, Angie loves to garden, experience the arts, visit new places and hanging out with family and friends.
Dr. Quamar is excited to be back home in Dallas after spending time on the East Coast earning advanced postdoctoral training in periodontology at New York University and a masters degree in oral biology, periodontology, and oral implantology at Temple University Kornberg of Dentistry. He received his initial Bachelor of Science in dental surgery from Hamdard University in 2005. Dr. Quamar has a deep passion for periodontics and truly enjoys the day-to-day interaction his practice provides with his patients. In his spare time, Dr. Quamar enjoys spending time with his toddler son, traveling, and playing pool.
Dr. Roberts has been practicing dentistry in Dallas since 1987. He received his Doctor of Dental Dentistry from the University of Illinois and then spent two years as a resident at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio receiving training in dental surgery, implant surgery, and sedation procedures. Dr. Roberts has many accolades to his name including the Young Dentist of the Year in 1990, Fellowship of the American Association of Hospital Dentistry, Dallas County Dental Society Board of Directors, adjunct assistant professor at the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio, and a national lecturer in the area of general dental surgery.

My family and I have gone to Campbell Family Dentistry for years. My wife and two boys have had the best experience with Dr. Ardilla and her team. Dr. Ardila is always available if you have a problem and she is VERY compassionate. Her team is kind and professional. This is the best dental practice and I highly recommend their service.

I was told by a dentist in WA state that I had 4 cavities, and that 3 of them, molars, needed root canals. His charge for a root canal on a molar with a crown is ~ $3600; that's ~ $10800 for 3 root canals with crowns. He was extremely pushy regarding having them done right away. I spoke with my uncle here in DFW, who is a retired dentist, and he recommended I wait until I moved back to Dallas which was 1 month away. He also said if pain and edema with hypersensitivity ramp up during that time, that I would likely need root canals before returning to TX. Thank goodness this was not the case. He referred me 1st to an endodontist here in DFW who said that I did not need root canals...yet. He stated that 2 of the molars had significant decay, and I should have them filled quickly as it would not be long before they DID require root canals. Next, my uncle referred to Dr. Vanitha Gowda Ardila, DDS at Campbell and Coit as he has a former employee of his who works there who strongly recommended Dr Ardila. Dr. Ardila was able to successfully place some rather large fluoride fillings in the 2 teeth with the large cavities. They were bad cavities that stretched below the gum line, so she had to remove some gum tissue in addition to performing the fillings. There was some intermittent pain on the right side which lasted a few days that was easily treatable with warm salt water rinses and ibuprofen. The left side did not hurt.....at all! Dr Ardila also found 2 other very small cavities that the dentist in WA did not catch. She was very honest with me, and stated these 2 small cavities could actually wait a couple of months to be filled which is good, because I'll have dental insurance again by that time. Before, I had a measly $1000 policy which was completely used up by that dentist in WA state after an exam, x-rays, cleaning, and 1 small filling. Dr Ardila's fees are very reasonable, she performs great work, and she has a very nice touch. It's important to note that there was zero discomfort while she worked on me. She is clearly a patient oriented practitioner. Dr. Ardila saved me a lot of hassle, time, pain, and money. It's always a great day to not need a root canal. When it comes to clinicians who perform procedures, demeanor/bed side manner is secondary. When these clinicians DO have a great demeanor and good bedside manner, it is a major plus. I'll just say it like this.....Dr. Ardila is cool!! I am so impressed with her kindness, skills, demeanor, competence, ethics, ect. It goes without saying that she IS my new dentist. She spent ample time with me over the last week, and she did...me...right. Anyone who lives in the area who may be searching for a dentist should give Dr. Ardila serious consideration. Mike C.

I had a very painful tooth that needed a root canal! I was very nervous about procedure. Thanks to the wonderful care, patience and understanding of Dr. Ardilia and staff, I was able to handle the procedure without any issues. I've been going to Dr Ardilia for over 10 years and there isn't anyone else I would trust my teeth too! She takes the time to explain things and educate you on the importance of oral hygiene. The entire staff at Campbell Fsmily Dentistry are amazing! They have our family's care for life!

Amazing staff! First dentist visit in years and I was nervous going in, but they took care of me and walked me through the entire process and my own personal plan. Professional and friendly, I can't recommend them enough. It's okay if you're nervous about going to the dentist, because they will make you feel at ease!

I normally don't like going to the dentist, but going to Campbell Family Dentist has totally changed my outlook on it. The staff is wonderful, genuine, and really try to get to know their patients and serve them in any way they can. With their advice, cleaning, and my diligence, my teeth feel so much healthier! I truly appreciate their work and the kindness they've shown me! This is a great place to get your teeth clean!

Worst dentist I have ever seen. They make up issues to charge you more. Was told I had four cavities and needed oral surgery. A second opinion told me I had no cavities and did not need surgery. Do not waste your or your insurances money here.

Very poorly organized and not focused on providing a quality service or considerate of their client's time. Today was my fourth and last appointment. After waiting for 10 minutes the receptionist said they were running behind. My appointment was at 8:40 in the morning so how they could be running behind already is beyond me. I am a busy professional and absolutely hate when healthcare providers are inconsiderate of my time. The receptionist asked when could I come back when I had more time and I just walked out. All four times I have been there delays of one sort or another ensued. It is too bad. Nice people who seem competent enough but they just dont understand that they are providing a service and need to earn their customers business. Updated November 12. I have stuck it out with them and they have been working hard to regain my trust and support. I appreciate it.

This is the best dental practice I've encountered, I was first greeted by Sherri she went above and beyond finding a slot for me according to my schedule. The check in process was super fast and smooth. :) Tanya is very welcoming, she made sure all my questions were answered properly. Dr. Gowda is an amazing dentist she is honest and truly cares for her patients.

This office is amazing! Mrs. Sherri is so sweet and is always fun to talk too but the doc and hygienist are awesome! I love this office so much and enjoy getting to go see them :)
