Originally from Bogot, Colombia, I developed my passion for orthodontics from anthropological studies of indigenous tribes in the Colombian Amazon. I have a dual degree from the Military University in Colombia and the University of the Pacific in San Francisco and have been practicing Orthodontics since 1997.
Dr. Riao is ardent about creating beautiful smiles and helping children, teens and adults in the Bay Area look their very best. Away from the office, Dr. Riao enjoys rock climbing, surfing, playing soccer and taking adventurous long hikes with his wife and three children.
