Originally from Bogot, Colombia, I developed my passion for orthodontics from anthropological studies of indigenous tribes in the Colombian Amazon. I have a dual degree from the Military University in Colombia and the University of the Pacific in San Francisco and have been practicing Orthodontics since 1997.

Away from the office, Dr. Riao enjoys rock climbing, surfing, playing soccer and taking adventurous long hikes with his wife and three children.
We currently participate with all PPO dental plans, however all charges you incur are your responsibility regardless of your insurance coverage. As a courtesy to you, we will help you process all insurance claims.

The entire team was welcoming and very friendly. They left a great first impression in my opinion. Dr. Riano was very transparent and honest during his exam. Gabriela was very pleasant, helpful, non-pushy, and answered all my questions during my Invisalign consult.

Dr. Riano and staff are warm and welcoming. The secretary took me back to the wait room and Dr. Riano looked up from what he was doing to say hi and he greeted me by my first name. It was my first visit and he knew my name. Basically my problem cannot be fixed with braces and he told me straight up that he did NOT want to take my money and over promise results. I wish he could of had better news for me, I would of loved him to be my doctor.
