Early in my academic career I enjoyed being artistically inclined and later became fascinated with science. As a general dentist, I find it gratifying to combine art with science in a way that will enhance the lives of others.
Dr. David Galatas was born & raised in New Orleans, LA and graduated from LSU School of Dentistry in 1999. He then joined the U.S. Air Force and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Barksdale Air Force Base in Shreveport, Louisiana. After being honorably discharged in 2002, Dr. Galatas entered into private practice and has enjoyed improving the quality of the lives of others ever since.
In his spare time, Dr. Galatas is passionate about the performing arts and enjoys restoring and repairing electric stringed instruments, playing and composing music, being a music educator, volunteering at the Wake County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) with helping to rehabilitate dogs and contributing to the Music Department at his undergraduate alma mater, the University of New Orleans.
Dr. Jeffery Connell was raised in Franklin, NC, a small town in in the western part of the state. Dr. Connell attended North Carolina State University and received his Bachelors in Human Biology with a Business Minor. Dr. Connell was interested in the dental field from a young age.
During his undergraduate studies he was able to shadow in the field and realized it was a rewarding career that he wanted to pursue. After college, he attended East Carolina University school of Dental Medicine and received his degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.).
Christina is a caring professional who will do everything possible to make your visit more comfortable and your visit excellent. She makes every day in the office magical. She has a very strong understanding of esthetic and functional dentistry and is always glad to answer questions before, during and after treatment. She resides with her amazing husband and their world- Their family of rescued dogs.
Hello, my name is Mei-Ling I like to be called Mei (May) for short. Im 27 years old and my birthday is July 20th. I am a happy mother of a beautiful baby girl Milani who keeps me motivated every single day. I moved from New York to Fayetteville in 2018 for change and to start a new chapter in my life. I enjoy listening to music, going out, and trying new food and painting or drawing in my spare time. I started my journey in dentistry in August of 2018 and cant wait to see what the future holds.
I am an ARMY wife, a mother of four, (24, 23, 22, 19) and a grandmother to five grand-animals. Some of my passions include traveling, reading, spending time with family and sports. Dental assisting has a way of being rewarding due to the fact that it can improve someones oral health, self-confidence, and quality of life. The dentistry world allows me to never stop learning, improving, and expanding on my assisting skills. Technology and flexibility are a must have when working in patient care. Due to a wonderful opportunity, I will be working in general dentistry again as the Clinical Supervisor at Cameron Family Dentistry with by Dr. Galatas DDS, Dr. Connell DDS, and Office Manager Mrs. Christina along with supporting staff where we will strive to give the best care possible to our patients.
Michelle began working as a registered dental assistant in California for 5 years. There she learned the importance of team work and has since enjoyed being part of a great dental team. After graduating from Sacramento City College in 1993, she achieved her dental hygiene license in both California and North Carolina. With many years of dental hygiene experience, Michelle comfortably provides the best quality care for all her patients. When Michelle is not at work, she loves sharing time with her family and friends.
Evelina is one of our lovely hygienists. She was born and raised in Fayetteville and currently resides there. She attended FTCC for her hygiene education, graduated in 2014 and has been with our office since 2015.
Patients love her for her gentle touch and making them feel at ease during their visits. When shes not cleaning teeth and educating patients here at the office she is spending time with her family, shopping, traveling or on social media documenting her curly hair.

I'm very sad to say that the customer service was not nice to me, when I tried to reschedule my 4 appointments. I have been going to Cameron family dentistry for over 1 year. As a dental assistant I completely understand the dentistry world. As a single mother of 4 I try to manage our appointments while juggling work and school. I was told by management that I could not reschedule me and my children's appointments due to the fact that I rescheduled over 1 year ago, one time previously. They did not try to resolve the issue but instead told me that they didn't care if they lost 4 customers. I really think that they could have accommodated me and even be a little nicer to me. I would seek a different dentist office if you are looking in this area. Life happens and good businesses are mindful of this and try to accommodate their customers. I was very hurt by my treatment here. ADDED REVIEW: Not happy with the treatment. I left reviews to show my dissatisfaction. Most businesses would apologize and try to remedy the situation, instead this is the response I got (SEE BELOW)..... how nice! This is the type of sarcastic environment they have there. I must also add that I spent well over $8000 out of pocket on services plus thousands of insurance payments for 4 children. I spent alot of money here and I was kind to everyone. I went here to have some fillings done & a tooth removed.. I am in the Army and have been to dental offices all over the world.. this is one of the best dental offices I've ever been to. Their office is modern & up to date and the staff was friendly. Everything was explained before any work was done & the whole process was straight-forward... would highly recommend!

I went in the summer of 2020 for a cleaning and they told me I had to have five fillings done. I thought okay, no big deal, I've had fillings before, what could go wrong. Boy was I in for it. Two of the fillings that were done out of the five caused extreme sharp pain when biting down and that's coming from a person with a high pain tolerance. This pain is like nothing I've ever felt before. When I went back they redid the fillings but this made it worse. A few months went by and I came back in for help. The dentist told me to rub some Sensodyn on it and wear a mouth guard. These dentist have little to no empathy and caused a unnecessary amount of pain and suffering that I am still dealing with to this day. I went in with no teeth pain and came out with a world full of health issues. Please, for your sake, pick a different practice.

Considering this a military community that lives nearby and comes or is looking for a dentist , if you are military or insured by United Concordia stay away from here. I went in for a regular cleaning and was sent home because they said I would benefit from a deep cleaning/descaling instead. (I had no control if they were sending me out the door) anyway , I scheduled it . I came in and PAID MY COPAY FOR IT. 2months later I get a bill for $300 . I call tricare . They tell me this is something they saw on their end and should've told me . They are scammers . The front desk lady understood where I was coming from but manager would not budge . Military tricare families stay away . The same thing happened to 2 of my friends here

I was very hurt by my families treatment here. My family was not able to reschedule as a family due to 1 reschedule in a years time. Very unfortunate. And they didn't care to lose us as customers.

Went here once. I was pleased with my service, until I got billed $150 although this wasn't mentioned before, during, or after my appointment. I have tricare, it's clear what they cover, there isn't a grey area. I attempted to dispute with them as I verified my insurance coverage with them numerous times, and what my copay would be. I even had an additional service that I paid $80 out of pocket prior to leaving. We verified that my insurance covered an annual dental exam, cleaning, and radiographs. They sent the $150 to collections, as I was told I wouldn't have to pay for anything prior to being seen, my credit score dropped by -25 points. . I recommend steering clear as their billing department sucks.
