ProcedureA diagnosis is necessary before the dentist can decide upon the correct endodontic treatment. When a patient complains of a toothache and swelling, our dentist will be able to look for indications of tooth decay that may need root canal treatment. Physical discoloration and pus buildups are the most obvious, physical symptoms of needing root canal treatment. The dentist will use an x-ray and the pressing of a cold stimulus onto the tooth, to see if it causes sensitivity, to detect the need for root canal treatment
A small incision will be made into the top of the tooth, to allow our dentist to access the pulp. The infected pump will be removed, to prevent the further spreading of the infection. Once this is removed, our dentist will flush the inside of the tooth with an antibacterial solution, to ensure no bacteria remain inside. To fill in the inside of the tooth, a rubbery material, gutta percha, will be used for structural reasons.
Once the dentist has finished the root canal treatment, we will place a temporary crown on top. This is to be used until a dental lab has made a custom fit crown for your tooth, designed from a mold of your mouth.

It is very unfortunate that I have to rate this place with a one star. The dental procedure I had done was excellent and I have nothing bad to say about this. My only issue is regarding the financial practices. They do submit the bill to your insurance but you have to pay upfront before services can be rendered. In my case, my insurance sent a payment to them which created a credit on my account. I have been trying to get a refund for almost 2 months now which is unacceptable. They are unforgiving of any charges and quick to take your payment...no so much to refund you your money if there is a credit.

Writing a review isn't usually my thing. However, this one is absolutely necessary. A big thank you to Dr.Pullos (Alissa) and her assistant "Ray of sunshine" (and he was) who eased my fearful mind prior to my procedure. I'm still in awe at Dr. Pullos quick and painless way of extracting my tooth. Now a day later-no pain or discomfort. I feel free of pre dental anxiety from my experience with Alissa and Ray at Cameo Dental Specialists in Berwyn. Thank you to all the helpful and friendly people in the office too!

An amazing place, came in for a consultation of a root canal was able to get it done within minutes of my consultation. Dr. Rick Munaretto and his staff did an amazing job, made me feel very comfortable and did felt no pain during and after my root canal. Thank you very much!!! I highly recommend this place. Follow up for my second appointment 6.20.22 with Dr. Matthew S.Hamedani, I came in to get all four of my wisdom teeth removed and I most say he and his team did an amazing job. I felt no pain nor did I have any type of swelling. Granted I had all of my wisdom teeth exposed, they still all needed to come out. Thank you for everything you and your team did, you made me feel very comfortable as soon as I came in and the amount of care you should with me before and after the procedure was amazing. Dr. Rick and staff member Eddie were amazingly helpful and so skillful. My 11 years old granddaughter was very fearful and would not allow other dentists to work with her. The absolute best! I don't normally leave reviews, but I had an amazing experience at Cameo Dental. The staff is extremely personable, professional, and very comforting. I went in to get my wisdom teeth extracted. Dr. Pullos did an amazing job! This was my first time being put to sleep for a procedure. I was super nervous the day of, but the whole team at Cameo Dental made me feel so comfortable and at ease. Shout out to Esther from billing as well! She's so sweet and every helpful. I came here for my final wisdom tooth extraction and saw Dr.Allisa Pullos . The Dental Assistant, Ray, was very personable and really knew how to read you. He did a very good job educating me on what was going on throughout the visit. Dr.Pullos is a very intelligent, personable doctor and is very skilled. I was prepared for a hour long process. Once I was numb it took her maybe 30 seconds to extract my wisdom tooth. Esther took very good care of me at the front and was very friendly and personable. I guess what I'm saying is... they have an all star staff, see Dr.Allisa Pullos, you won't regret it.

I had to schedule en emergency oral surgery, and my dentist recommended Cameo Dental . I called in the morning and I was able to get an appointment the same day with dr. Alissa Pullos. I was in so much pain and discomfort. Dr Pullos was great. She explained the whole process of removing root of my wisdom tooth ( left by another oral surgeon 11 years ago) . She answered every question. She even took time to call my dentist with updates. She is very kind and attentive. My whole experience from beginning to end was smooth.
