One of the most effective ways that we make your dental visits more comfortable and successful is by working with some of dentistrys most advanced technology. With our digital X-rays, intraoral cameras, and cone beam CT scanner, diagnosis becomes more accurate and faster, all with as little discomfort for you as possible. In addition, Dr. Camenzuli to provides nitrous oxide sedation as well as an anxiety reducing medication for patients who struggle with dental anxiety.

After earning his bachelors from the University of New Orleans, Dr. Camenzuli received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. Today, he is a Senior Master Provider for Fastbraces, a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and a member of the Louisiana Dental Association.
He is also a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. This is a distinction achieved by only 6% of dentists in the U.S. and Canada, and it demonstrates Dr. Camenzulis dedication to keeping up with the latest techniques and technology in dentistry. To earn Fellowship status, he had to complete over 500 hours of continuing education, 350 of which consisted of live courses, and he also had to pass an exam equal in difficulty to the board certification exam. And, he attends trainings in a classroom setting multiple times a year in order to keep his skills sharp, which is not something every dentist does! Altogether, he has completed over 1,000 hours of continuing education throughout his career, and he is also a member of two study clubs a local organization and a SPEAR Education club. He has even been named as a Top Dentist in New Orleans for several years in New Orleans Magazine!
Dr. Camenzuli and his wife Dana have been married for nearly two full decades, and they have twin daughters named Veronica and Juliette. They also have 2 dogs, a Poodle named Hugo, and a Schnoodle named Sammy, as well as a black Persian cat named Freddy. Dana is a self-taught gourmet cook, and he eats better at home than he could at restaurants! His daughters are straight A students who are active in Tae Kwon Do, and both hold a Blackbelt. Outside of the dental office, his personal hobbies include playing the piano, running, and practicing yoga. He is an avid traveler as well and has visited many countries and cities within the United States.

I've been going to Dr. Camenzuli for several years. I've never had a bad experience. Dr. Camenzuli himself is very chill yet professional. His staff are super nice -shout out to Mai and Michelle. Painless cleanings and no judgement about my coffee addiction.

I absolutely love his dental office and team. They are very welcoming and friendly as soon as you walk in through the door. Dr. Camenzuli has great bedside manners and explained everything he was doing and what he recommends for me to have the best smile and relieve my discomfort, detail by detail. I highly recommend scheduling with this amazing clinic and team. The late hours are such a blessing, I get out of work by 5pm and other dental offices are closed by then. I definitely recommend camenzuli dental! Update: As I stated before, I highly recommend this team! They really do care about your dental health and discuss in detail what procedures if any are needed. Everyone is very kind, they take their time with each patient and you don't feel rushed. Update: This clinic is beyond incredible. My visits here have been amazing each time. Camenzuli Dental will always be my first choice for dental care. I highly recommend them.

This was one of the worst dental experiences of my life. The doctor was abusive, unprofessional, and rude (he had some good moments but overall he was behaving badly.) As far as his diagnosis/treatment recommendation, he told me I had fifteen cavities and recommended that I get "a bunch of crowns." He said the latter part with a big smile on his face. I've since had a second opinion by my cousin's husband who's a dentist and he said I have Two cavities and I don't need all those crowns. He said the dentist was "not being conservative" and it was for "cosmetic purposes". I do not know what was going on in his head but I do know I do not deserve abuse. I was simply trying to have a nice appointment. I was trying to get along. If there was something he didn't like about me, he should've been professional about it. I was open about my challenges. I think he was triggered though because he turned on me right after I said I heard about him through reviews. He has a couple of bad ones so maybe he got insecure. Whatever it was, you should learn to control yourself, Doctor. And know that you instigated a huge positive change in my life due to your bad behavior, so thank you. ETA: I reached out to this dentist after his reply below but did not hear back from him. He doesn't seem to realize that abuse is also emotional and mental. Talking to patients in a harsh tone, being aggressive, mean, and let's not forget, giving them questionable diagnoses/treatment plans, can all characterize as abuse. So is enjoying watching them suffer.

I have been seeing Dr. Camenzuli since three years ago every 6 months for my check up. I had no major treatment so far except regular cleaning. However, I have great experience every time. Everything is organized, on-time and very clean. I have recommended this place to my other friends as well.
