Dr. Malone has been recognized for his excellence in the field of Cosmetic Dentistry on many occasions, and was elected President of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry for 2003-2004. Dr. Malone has been a member of the AACD since 1988, and he achieved accreditation by the AACD in 1992, one of just over 350 dentists worldwide with this credential.
Dr. Mike Malone has been using metal-free, adhesive cosmetic dentistry to create and restore beautiful smiles since 1976. He is a dental artist who, through the use of conservative procedures, enhances the health, beauty and function of smiles. His ability to create natural, life-like smiles has helped many people look and feel their best.
Dentistry is more than my profession. It is my passion! When I was a senior dental student I did cosmetic bonding on a patient with two broken front teeth. When I saw the look on her face when she viewed her completed smile in the mirror, I knew that cosmetic dentistry was what I wanted to do for the rest of my career!
Since I left dental school over 25 years ago my goal has been to develop a comprehensive restorative practice to help people have and keep beautiful and healthy smiles. I have made it a priority to stay up to date technically and technologically with constant continuing education to ensure that our patients receive the best possible dental care available.
Dr. Malone also achieved his fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, and is also a member of the American Dental Association, the American Equilibration Society, and the Pankey Alumni Association.
It was Dr. Foremans father who inspired her career choice. As a dentist himself, he was committed to his practice, but also made time for his family. Spending time in his office growing up and working there as an assistant convinced Dr. Foreman that was the life she wanted. I watched my fathers interaction with patients over the years, she said. and admired the relationships he built up.
After graduating summa cum laude from LSU in Baton Rouge, Dr. Foreman attended LSU School of Dentistry where she graduated in the top five of her class. During dental school, she received the Baldridge scholarship, the OKU scholarship, and was on the Deans list every semester. She also received awards for Excellence in Oral Medicine and the General Dentistry Award for Clinical Proficiency and Leadership.
Dr. Foreman returned to her hometown of Lafayette and has practiced general dentistry in this area since 2006. I love helping people feel better about their smiles and enhancing their health, Dr. Foreman said. I feel that the health of a patients mouth is a strong indication of their overall health. Because of that, she is passionate about providing patients with customized, quality care.

After work, Dr. Foreman stays busy with her husband Andrew and three children Leah, Drew, and Vivian. They love living in such a family-oriented community and enjoy the Cajun culture, great food, and local festivals.

In addition to state-of-the-art cosmetic dentistry procedures such as porcelain veneers, ceramic crowns, and advanced tooth whitening, we also take care of your familys general dentistry needs, such as regular checkups, cleanings, white fillings, crowns, bridges and childrens dentistry.
Dr. Thimmesch received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She was employed by Dr. Malone working as a part time dental assistant while pursuing her degree. She then attended the LSU School of Dentistry where she graduated with honors.
Katherine is a native of Opelousas and graduated from Opelousas Catholic where she first met her husband Toby Thimmesch. While attending the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Katherine was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. After graduating with honors, she went on to Louisiana State University School of Dentistry where she completed the cosmetic continuum her senior year and received her Doctoral of Dental Surgery degree. She and Toby have 3 children, Anne Katherine, Grace Ellen, and George and are happy to call Lafayette their home.
