Starting with Dr. Louis Grush, through the career of Dr. James Tomaszewski, and now with Dr. Stephen Tomaszewski, professional mentoring has helped maintain the continuity of our high standard of care and level of expertise at CCFDentistry. With shared passions for both teaching and their profession, all 3 dentists have also spent time on the clinical faculty at the LSU School of Dentistry.

Dr. Steve became a dentist in 2004 and has been the owner and operator of Camellia City Family Dentistry since 2010. He has a warm bedside manner and is devoted to earning the confidence of his patients. His reputation for providing beautiful cosmetic care and his success with helping people reach and maintain good oral health has led to him being voted year after year as one of the best dentists in Slidell and the greater New Orleans area.
Early in my career, I had an advantage of working alongside my father as well as many other skilled dentists and specialists. That period of being mentored accelerated my development as a young doctor and gave me a stronger foundation of experience
Pam has been a dental hygienist at CCFD since 1994 and spearheads our efforts to always improve patient care. She graduated from the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a BS degree in Dental Hygiene in 1993. She is married to her husband, Bobby, and together they spend most of their time cheering on their 4 children in their various activities. When she has time to herself, she enjoys jogging, exercising, or shopping.
Sue has been with CCFD for more than 15 years. She was a long-time clinical assistant and now serves as our Patient Care Manager. She started working in dental care in 1983 and received her CDA certificate from the LSU School of Dentistry in 1985. Sue and her husband Mike have 2 daughters. She enjoys going to the beach and visiting with family.
Jennifer has been a member of our team since 1998 and has worn many hats over the years. Today, she is our experienced administrative leader and patient care coordinator. She and her husband, Andre, have 4 children and are devoted baseball fans, spending countless hours supporting their kids at the ballpark. When Jennifer has free time, she spends it by reading or going to the movies.
With CCFDentistry since 2015, Taylor received her Dental Assistant Certification in October of 2014 from the Fortis Institute Dental Assistant program in Pensacola, Florida. Taylor is a great asset to the team with her amazing ability to help others feel completely at ease in her presence. These qualities make her a natural when it comes to patient care and service. In her free time, Taylor enjoys visiting her family and friends and soaking up the local culture of New Orleans.
Katherine graduated with an RDH from the LSU School of Dentistry in 1995. As a long-time patient at CCFDentistry, the opportunity to add her talent to our team came in 2020. She and her husband, Mike, have three children and reside in Mandeville, where she enjoys spending time with family, painting, and illustrating; she even has her artwork featured in a number of books!
