Through orthodontic care, we can help patients maintain their oral health and the proper alignment of their teeth. We can guide patients throughout their development and help them maintain proper oral hygiene at home to decrease the chance of tooth decay or gum disease. We also provide options for patients who have anxiety about visiting the dentist or have difficulty sitting still for a certain amount of time in a dental chair.
Dr. Rob Mirabelli was born and raised in Scarsdale, New York. Growing up, Dr. Rob was a competitive swimmer, which he continued to enjoy into his college years. He received his collegiate education at Columbia University in New York City. Dr. Rob graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Biology. In addition to swimming, his extracurricular activities included tutoring elementary and middle school students, teaching swim lessons to youngsters and working as camp counselor.
After college, Dr. Rob attended Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston and graduated cum laude. While in dental school, he volunteered as a Big Brother and went on a medical/dental mission to Peru. It was during dental school that Dr. Rob met Dr. Jen.
Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Rob and Dr. Jen moved to Seattle to attend the University of Washington for additional dental specialty training. Dr. Rob completed a two-year Pediatric Dental Residency, working both at the university and at Seattle Childrens Hospital and Regional Medical Center. He graduated as a specialist in pediatric dentistry and received a Master of Science degree. Dr. Rob is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, is a staff member at Phoenix Children's Hospital and HonorHealths Osborn and Shea Medical Centers. He has served as weekly clinical faculty for Phoenix's only pediatric dentistry residency - a program administered by NYU - Langone Health. As faculty, Dr. Rob supervised the residents' clinical education in sedation dentistry.
In addition to his time at CPDO, Dr. Rob currently works at HonorHealths NOAH Pediatric Dental Clinics (www.noahhelps.org). NOAH, or Neighborhood Outreach Access to Health, is a non-profit organization that provides comprehensive dental care to serve the most vulnerable people in our community, specifically low-income, uninsured, and at-risk children throughout the Valley.
Prior to working at NOAH, Dr. Rob served for years at the Parsons Center for Pediatric Dentistry at Murphy, a similar non-profit organization affiliated with Brighter Way Institute. The Parsons Center is also a low-cost dental clinic that serves uninsured and at-risk children in South Phoenix.
Dr. Rob also participates in another non-profit organization, one started by Dr. Stefanie called SOHO - Special Oral Health Outreach (sohodentalaz.org). Through this organization, Dr. Rob and Dr. Stefanie provide dental care to both behaviorally and medically special needs children throughout the valley. Dr. Rob and Dr. Stefanie coordinate closely with the transplant team at Phoenix Childrens hospital to ensure that all children pending organ or bone marrow transplantation have their dental needs met prior to surgery.
Dr. Rob has been voted a 'Top Pediatric Dentist' by his peers in Phoenix Magazines 'Top Dentist' issue. He also currently serves as a clinical consultant for the Arizona Board of Dental Examiners pediatric dentistry cases.
Dr. Jen Mirabelli was born and raised in Redlands, California. Growing up, Dr. Jen was a competitive swimmer. She received her collegiate education at the University of California at Santa Barbara. Dr. Jen graduated with honors and with a B.A. in Biology. While in college, Dr. Jen spent three months in Costa Rica participating in a tropical biology research program.
After college, Dr. Jen attended Harvard School of Dental Medicine and graduated cum laude. While in dental school, she was president of her class for all four years, a member of the admissions committee and a recipient of the Harvard Medical School Research Training award. Dr. Jen also went on the medical mission to Peru with Dr. Rob.
Dr. Jen completed a 2 -year Orthodontics Residency at the University of Washington, where she graduated as a specialist in orthodontics and received a Master of Science degree. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, is a member of the Arizona Orthodontic Study Group, and is a consultant for the Arizona Board of Dental Examiners. Dr. Jen has had her orthodontic research published in The Angle Orthodontist and The American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics. Dr. Jen was voted a 'Top Orthodontist' by her peers and was the featured orthodontist in the 2011 Phoenix Magazine 'Top Dentist' issue.
Dr. Stefanie Sotello was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. Growing up, Dr. Stefanie stayed busy playing competitive soccer on school and club teams. She received a scholarship to attend the University of Kansas. Rock Chalk Jayhawk! She graduated from University of Kansas with a BA in Microbiology.

Dr. Stefanie enjoys staying active in her community. While living in Kansas City, she participated in various programs such as Shadow Buddies and Shepherds Center. She has been involved in the Junior League of Phoenix and worked on many of their early-childhood education programs.
Dr Stephanie Pagels was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. She graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2008 with a BA in Psychology. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California in 2012. During her time at USC, she was involved in community outreach programs, both domestically and abroad. She was co-director of the USC Mobile Clinic, a program dedicated to treating children of at-risk communities in Southern California. She was president of the Dental Humanitarian Outreach Program, a group that brought much needed dental care to underserved communities throughout the world. She is the recipient of the Thor Award, for outstanding dedication and service in providing dental care to the under served and the California Dental Association Community Leadership Award, for academic excellence and contributing to organized dentistry.
Upon graduation she completed an Advance Education General Dentistry program through NYU-Lutheran Medical Center located at the Maricopa Integrated Health Systems (Valleywise) in Phoenix, AZ. She then completed her Pediatric Residency Program through NYU-Lutheran Medical Center in Tucson, AZ.
You can catch Stephanie and her daughter, Lucia, cheering on her husband, Oscar, and son, Silas, as they race their mountain bikes around Arizona. The family loves being outdoors and going on desert adventures.
Dr. Dia Haque was born in Bangladesh, known for its Bengal tigers, colorful rickshaws, and delicious foods! Dr. Dia graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers University with B. A. in Biological Sciences. She then attended Harvard School of Dental Medicine, graduating with the Oral Medicine Award. At Harvard, she was presented with the Weissman grant from Harvard Global Health Institute to work with the WHO-Global Alliance of Vaccination & Immunization in Geneva, Switzerland. Dr. Dia also served as Advisory Committee Member for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health from 2013-2016 that developed the first statewide Oral Health Practice Guidelines for Pregnancy and Early Childhood.
Dr. Dia completed her two-year Pediatric Dental Residency program with NYU Langone Health here in Phoenix. Afterward, Dr. Dia worked in private practice and as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois Chicago where she supervised dental students and residents in the clinic and operating room and taught courses such as Pediatric Dental Exam, Diagnosis, & Treatment planning and Infectious Oral Diseases in Children. During her tenure there, Dr. Dia was awarded the Master Clinician Fellowship from the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Dia pursued a Master in Public Health through Harvard Chan School of Public Health due to her passion for increasing access to care for vulnerable communities and the integration of oral health and systemic health. Dr. Dia was also selected to be the Joseph Henry Fellow in Minority Oral Health Policy at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Dia believes in the prevention of cavities, establishing a dental home early, and wants to make every child feel comfortable at the dentists! Dr. Dia is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Dentistry for Children.
