Dr. Adam LItalien, DMD has grown up and lived in Maine for the past 30 years. He was raised in Enfield, Maine, where he attended Mattanawcook Academy. After high school he attended the University of Connecticut where he received a bachelors degree in physiology and neurobiology. He received his DMD from the University of New England after completing rotations at Waldo County General Hospital and Katahdin Valley Health Center. Upon graduation, Dr. LItalien returned to his hometown of Enfield, Maine to practice dentistry at Health Access Network.

Thus far in his dental education and career, Dr. LItalien has received the following academic and clinical honors. He was selected as the first Betterment Fund Scholar as well as Key Bank Scholar for his clinical work with under-served populations. In addition, the Maine Dental Association selected him as an Alva S. Appleby Scholar. He was also chosen to be one of only three Delta Dental Scholars out of the entire University of New England College of Dental Medicine.

Dr. LItalien has been highlighted in Dentistry Today, a prominent publication in clinical dentistry, as well as University of New England Magazine, for his work with underprivileged populations. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Maine Dental Association, Midcoast Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Casco Bay Study Club, and Spear Dental Education. He is Invisalign certified and enjoys enhancing the beauty and functionality of natural smiles through orthodontic intervention.

Dr. LItalien met his wife Danielle while studying at the University of New England. They have a black lab named Pete, and spend many weekends exploring new trails with him. They were also overjoyed to welcome their first child, daughter Vaila Mae in September of 2019. When he is not practicing dentistry, he likes watching all professional sports, especially basketball. He is a fan of all New England sports teams. On nights and weekends, he can be found perfecting his second favorite hobby: cooking. Dr. LItalien and Danielle are excited to be a part of the dynamic community of Camden-Rockport that they now call home.

Denise joined Camden Hills Dental Care in 2008; bringing with her years of administrative experience in the healthcare field. Providing quality care and education for our patients dental needs is her passion. With her attention to detail and communication skills being our Business Coordinator is a great fit for Denise. Denise has been fortunate to have always lived in Mid-Coast Maine. Spending time with her family and friends and gardening are things she really enjoys.

Shari is a native of Maine, born and raised in Aroostook county. Shari has been practicing dental hygiene for 37 years graduating from Westbrook College in Portland, Maine. Shari resides in the Camden area where she has raised her three children, to become young successful adults. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family(grandson Carter) and friends! Shari is dedicated in helping her patients achieve and maintain optimal oral hygiene by providing individualized patient education instruction and excellent patient care.

Emmi is a 1994 graduate of the University Of Maine School of Dental Hygiene. She also has her anesthesia license, her dental radiograph license, and is currently in her CPR training. Her positive energy, enthusiasm, and dental experience are a tremendous asset to our practice. She especially loves working with children so that they will have a positive and healthy start to their dental hygiene. Emmi has always lived in our community and thoroughly enjoys taking great care of the many friends she has made over the years. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her family and grandchildren.

Heather joined our team in July of 2017. Being a quick study has made her transition into dentistry smooth and exciting for her. Her friendly, caring personality is of great comfort to our patients. Heather has received her radiology license and her CPR certification. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her children along with hunting & fishing!

Ellen joined Camden Hills Dental Care in July 2018, she comes to us with several years of assisting experience. She has enjoyed getting to know our office, working with the team as well as meeting patients and getting to know them and their dental needs. Ellen was born and raised in Arizona and is loving Maine and all that it has to offer. In her time off, she enjoys spending time with her husband and her son. You may just run into her hiking on a warm summer day or enjoying the many lakes in our area. However, she is still trying to figure out how to enjoy the winter months here in Maine!

Dr. Jonathan Goss DDS, MAGD is a native to Maine. He grew up in Saco and completed high school at Thornton Academy before going on to pursue his undergraduate studies at the University of Maine in Orono. He met his wife Lee while studying dentistry at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. In 1983, he graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown with his doctorate in dental surgery (DDS), and he and Lee moved to Rockport, Maine. Dr. Goss joined Dr. Philip Higgins in private practice in Camden, where they ran a busy and successful dental office for twenty years. In 2003, Dr. Goss moved his practice to its current location at 10 Granite Way in Rockport and renamed it Camden Hills Dental Care.

Helping patients achieve optimal dental health and confidence in their smiles is his passion. He is especially committed to furthering his knowledge of dentistry, and considers himself a continuing education junkie. He has spent his career as an active member of professional organizations that focus on advanced studies in dentistry, including the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and the Seattle Study Club. He is also a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Casco Bay Study Club, the Maine Dental Association, and the Maine Dental Society.

Dr. Goss is so focused on furthering his education in dentistry that he has far exceeded the normal license requirements for annual updates. In 2007, Dr. Goss traveled to San Diego, California to receive an award for Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD). A professional designation beyond Fellowship, Mastership is the highest honor the Academy can bestow. This achievement reflects Dr. Gosss enduring commitment to providing quality care through continuing education in his field. Dr. Goss and his wife have three adult daughters, all of whom grew up in Rockport. Together they have enjoyed the many recreational activities the Camden area has to offer, including sailing, skiing, and time spent on Maine lakes with extended family members. He and his family feel very lucky to be able to live in such a beautiful place and to be a part of the unique community of Camden-Rockport.
