A Michigan native and graduate from the University of Detroit Dental School in 1978, Dr. Sam Photopoulos has been providing quality family dentistry to the community for over 40 years. In his early career, he worked with a Pedodontist specializing in caring for childrens dental needs. In 1983, Dr. Photopoulos was presented with the opportunity to take over a family practice and has been practicing in the San Jose, Cambrian area ever since. Growing his skill set over the years by becoming certified in Orthodontics in 1986. Dr. Photopoulos has flourished in his Cosmetic, Restorative, Preventative and Orthodontic Dentistry and has left a trail of grateful patients who love and respect him for his caring heart, honesty, great sense of humor, and pristine perfectionist dental mentality. If he isnt at the Dental office, you can find Dr. Sam on the golf course or on the dance floor with his wife, Cathy.

Andrea has been a Dental Hygienist in our practice since 2008. She takes great pride in her commitment to her patients periodontal health and tries to make dental cleanings as pleasant as possible. Born and raised locally in the San Jose area, she graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program at Carrington College as President of her class. When she isnt providing dental care, Andrea enjoys photography, singing, and spending time with her family as a new mother.
Joann will be taking care of you at the front office. If you need help with scheduling, insurance, or payments, she is your gal. Originally from Detriot, Michigan Joann moved to San Jose in 1966 and grew up locally in San Jose. She attended San Jose State University where she received her Bachelors. Joann has been working at Camden Dental with Dr. Sam (her brother) for 20 years now. In her spare time Joann enjoys baking, dancing, painting, and reading a good novel.
Carolyn has much to offer our practice as a very passionate and hardworking Dental Hygienist with years of experience. She has been with our practice since 2016 and has really enjoyed being introduced to our wonderful patients. In her free time, Carolyn enjoys dancing, travel, and volunteer work as President of her womans group.
Working side by side with Dr. Sam, Jordan adds so much to our practice with her caring bedside manner and great sense of humor. A graduate of Carrington College, Jordan has been a Dental Assistant at our practice since 2015. In her spare time Jordan enjoys catching a good show on Netflix, fitness, and spending time with her family.

I wanted to steal this place for myself but Dr. Sam P is the best dentist I have been to. He is hands down best, very hard working and old school, wise, practical and an amazing staff to support him. He is a wonderful dentist, just thankful to have him taking care of our valuable teeth.

Dr Sam is a wonderful, caring dentist and person. The staff is professional and very friendly. I have been going to Camden Dental for many years. My teeth are healthy and look great. I recommend this dentist.

Had been a patient of Dr Sam Photopoulus for a decade. I like his detailed approach to make sure dental work is done with highest quality and that the result is pain free to the patient. In addition, Dr Sam will never recommend unneeded work, he is very honest in his practice.

I stressed out a lot over which dentist to go to since I knew I needed a lot of work but shortly after my first visit I knew I had made the right decision and got pretty lucky that I was referred to Camden dental! Everyone was super nice and made me feel as if though I've been going their for years. I look forward to sticking with them going forward.

Can I give more than a five star rating?! My experience with Camden Dental Center was exceptional! I tend to get nervous going to the dentist but Dr. Photopoulos was very gentle and so I had a very positive experience. He worked on two of my teeth and I didn't feel a thing. He was also very detailed in explaining exactly what was going on with my teeth and describing his recommended care options which I really appreciated. I will be going back to him!
