As an all-in-one practice, we offer complete dental care to meet all your oral health needs in a single, convenient location. It is extremely rare that we feel the need to refer you to a dental specialist, as our dentists and team are able to provide almost everything you need.

Each of the highly trained dentists of Cambridge Family Dentistry has years of experience in providing high-quality dentistry. Additionally, our talented support staff has significant experience, with many of them serving more than 10 years at our practice.

Our practice is conveniently located in east Wichita to ensure that you can visit us without any difficulty. Near the intersection of 21st Street and Webb Road, many of our patients take K-96 and exit on 21st Street. We have ample parking and are easily accessible to all.

At Cambridge Family Dentistry, we are committed to continuing education and the utilization of state-of-the-art technology. We use electronic dental records, 3D X-rays, digital imaging and more. Our commitment ensures the optimum patient experience.

Wichita native, Dr. Dean Wright, was the owner and director of Cambridge Family Dentistry for many years. He retired in 2021, after practicing for nearly 45 years. During his career, Dr. Wright saw thousands of patients and personally placed more than 20,000 implants. To this day, Cambridge Family Dentistry has placed more mini dental implants than any other clinic in North America.

After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Pittsburg State University, Dr. Christopher Polk completed his dental degree at the University of Oklahoma in 1994. He started working at Cambridge Family Dentistry in 2013 and is now the owner of the practice, specializing in all aspects of dentistry and also offering orthodontics. He regularly attends Continuing Education (CE) courses in implantology.

Dr. Polk is passionate about making a difference in patients lives, from boosting the confidence of a teenager through a new smile to helping a senior citizen with new dentures that will provide not only health benefits but also intangible benefits like the enjoyment of eating or feeling better about themselves.

Dr. Polk enjoys spending time playing board games with his family and playing with their Golden Doodle. He is an amateur Coca Cola collector, has his pilot license and has a racing license through the Sports Car Club of America.

Prior to dental school, Dr. Neda Vessali completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry at Wichita State University. She then obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2001. She has worked at Cambridge Family Dentistry ever since.

Dr. Vessali has completed advanced training in the field of implant dentistry and even studied abroad at the University of Cartagena in Colombia. Her greatest interests are dental implants and cosmetic dentistry, and she loves to challenge herself and care for her patients as if they were her own family members. Dr. Vessali considers herself very blessed to have advanced knowledge in implant dentistry and to be able to devise unique treatment plans for each patient.

After playing baseball for the University of Texas at Arlington, Dr. Alan Herrman attended Baylor College of Dentistry and graduated in 2007. He attends Continuing Education (CE) courses yearly, including studying implantology from Bicon in Boston, Massachusetts. At Cambridge Family Dentistry, he strives to do the best he can for each patient and help them feel comfortable.

Dr. Kelly Johnson attended Wichita State University for her undergraduate before earning her dental degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2012. She is active in furthering her patients care with Continuing Education (CE) courses in a variety of subjects, from cosmetic dentistry to dental implants.

Dr. Johnson is a member of the American Dental Association, Kansas Dental Association and Wichita District Dental Society. She helps patients create and maintain beautiful, healthy teeth by addressing their dental phobias and ensuring they have a good experience and receive the treatment they need. To Dr. Johnson, there is nothing better than giving a patient the confidence to smile again, and she feels so blessed to work in a wonderful office that does this every day.

After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Northwestern Oklahoma State University, Dr. Jeffrey Pierce completed his dental degree at the Oklahoma University College of Dentistry in 1994. He started working at Cambridge Family Dentistry in 2020, specializes in general dentistry and enjoys working with our team to make every patient feel like family.

Dr. Pierce is a member of the Oklahoma Dental Association, American Dental Association, American College of Dentists and Pierre Fauchard Academy. He has volunteered at community dental events, like the Kansas Mission of Mercy, Oklahoma Mission of Mercy and Good Shepard Mission.

A part of the team for around 20 years, Brandy is the office manager at Cambridge Family Dentistry. Within her role, she draws on previous experience in the medical field. Brandy feels that the practice has a great staff, but seeing patients happy about their dental work and/or new teeth is the most rewarding aspect of her position!

Brandy is married with two adult sons. In the past, she volunteered with her sons Boy Scouts troop, and her family also hosted foreign exchange students. Brandy has completed scuba certification and various underwater adventures. She and her husband also enjoy taking their two dogs to the park and on Jeep adventures!

Penny joined the Cambridge Family Dentistry team in 2009. As a receptionist, she enjoys working with and getting to know the patients she sees every day. Her favorite part of the process is seeing people come in, not smiling but leaving with the biggest smile on their faces due to the life-changing work our practice does.

Kelli joined the Cambridge Family Dentistry team in 2020. As a receptionist, she works in the front office and manages scheduling. Within her role, she draws on her education and experience as a dental assistant. At our practice, she appreciates both the great staff and friendly patients.

Megan joined the Cambridge Family Dentistry team in 2020. As a receptionist, she is dedicated to answering the phones. Within her role, she draws on her education from Cowley College and Heritage College, as well as more than five years of dental industry experience. At our practice, she appreciates how friendly and the staff is in interacting with her.

Casey joined the Cambridge Family Dentistry team in 2020. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a minor in Management from Wichita State University and has been in the dental industry since 2014. As a receptionist, she works in the front office, including checking patients out and handling both billing and insurance. She particularly enjoys seeing the patient smile transformations from beginning to end.

Michele joined the Cambridge Family Dentistry team in 2021 and has been working in the dental industry since 1989. As a receptionist, she works to answer phone calls and provide insurance support to patients. Michele appreciates working at Cambridge Family Dentistry because of the excellent care that the support staff and doctors provide to all patients.

Michele is married with one adult daughter. She and her husband are passionate about gardening and canning their own vegetables and especially enjoy the pickled asparagus and banana pepper mustard. Outside of work, she volunteers her time at the Mulvane Care & Share Thrift Store and the Belle Plaine Downtown Festival.

Krista joined the Cambridge Family Dentistry team in 2019. She graduated from Wichita State University with a bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene and has more than 14 years of industry experience. Within her role as a lead dental hygienist, she enjoys the teamwork and positive work environment. She appreciates that we take care of our patients but also have fun!

Krista is married to her husband, Kriss, and they have three children. In her spare time, Krista enjoys planting flowers, decorating her house, making holiday wreaths and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs!

Angela joined the Cambridge Family Dentistry team in 2003. She attended Kansas University and finished at Wichita State University with a bachelors degree in General Studies and an associates degree in Dental Hygiene. She has more than 20 years of experience in the dental industry.

Stasi joined the Cambridge Family Dentistry team in 2010. She graduated from Wichita State University with a bachelors degree in Computer Science and an associates degree in Dental Hygiene. Within her role as a dental hygienist, she provides oral disease prevention counseling, oral home care education, prophylactic cleanings, scaling and root planing, the placement of sealants, fluoride treatments and X-rays. Stasi enjoys helping and building relationships with patients, as well as working with multiple dentists.

Stasi loves spending time with her husband and two children. In her free time, she sews, does photography and is involved in a hula group that performs at private and public events to share the Hawaiian culture with future generations.

Lindsay joined the Cambridge Family Dentistry team in 2019. She has a bachelors degree from Emporia State University and an associates degree in Dental Hygiene from Fortis College in Landover, Maryland. Drawing on more than 14 years of industry experience, Lindsay provides personalized oral health education, dental hygiene therapy to prevent disease and periodontal therapy to treat periodontal disease. She enjoys getting to know patients and their family members.

Lindsay is a member of the Wichita Dental Hygiene Association and the American Dental Hygiene Association. She has volunteered with the Kansas Mission of Mercy and the Humanity and Hope Foundation. Originally from Western Kansas, Lindsay is married with three daughters, and her family has three dogs.

Nadia joined the Cambridge Family Dentistry team in 2019. She graduated from Wichita State University with a bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene and a minor in Spanish. As a dental hygienist, she enjoys working closely with patients to help them improve their oral health. Nadia is a member of the Wichita Dental Hygiene Association and the American Dental Hygiene Association. In her spare time, she enjoys being outside and traveling to new places that involve nature.

Yessenia joined the Cambridge Family Dentistry team in 2019. She is attending college and currently serves as a dental hygiene assistant. Her role includes supporting our dental hygienists and ensuring the dental hygiene schedule flows smoothly. She enjoys interacting with patients and coworkers.

Reva joined the Cambridge Family Dentistry team in 1990. As a dental assistant and manager, she enjoys interacting with people and helping the patients, ensuring they receive the care they need. At the practice for more than 30 years, Reva considers several patients her friends.

Reva was born in Wichita but grew up in southeast Nebraska and is proud to call herself a Husker. Family is especially important to Reva. She has three grown children and six wonderful grandchildren, as well as seven siblings and 63 first cousins! Reva has many hobbies, including spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, art, antiques and fixing up her old farmhouse.

Cari earned her Associate of Science degree in Radiology. She joined Cambridge Family Dentistry as a dental assistant in 2002 and enjoys helping patients with loose, ill-fitting dentures. Her favorite part is how happy patients are when they leave the office with tight, comfortable dentures and a confident smile.

Amanda attended Wichita State University and the University of Kansas, then joined Cambridge Family Dentistry as a dental assistant more than 15 years ago. She helps patients with their dental needs and is especially fond of sharing stories about their life experiences. She gets things done with a smile and a good attitude.

Chelsea earned her Associate of Science degree from Cowley County Community College and then furthered her education at Wichita State University. She joined the Cambridge Family Dentistry team as a dental assistant in 2011. Chelsea loves working with patients to help them achieve the smile they have always wanted.

Amber has been with Cambridge Family Dentistry since 2014 but has worked in the dental industry for more than 15 years. She is a dental assistant and is certified by the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons

Loxy joined the Cambridge Family Dentistry team in 2017, but she has been a dental assistant for close to 15 years. She holds certifications in supragingival scaling and nitrous oxide. Loxy loves coming to work, being part of such a great team, meeting new patients and helping them achieve healthy, beautiful smiles! Loxy is bilingual in English and Spanish, but to her, We all smile in the same language.

Loxy has visited schools to educate children about dental hygiene, and she volunteers with Kansas Mission of Mercy, a free dental clinic held annually. She is happily married with two children. Outside of the office, Loxy loves to play and coach soccer, be outdoors, work out and dance. She also enjoys photography and traveling.

Carly joined the Cambridge Family Dentistry team as a dental assistant in 2018. Drawing on more than 10 years of experience, she loves building relationships with patients, helping patients to overcome their anxieties and helping patients achieve the smile they desire.

Olivia was born and raised in north Wichita. She attended San Antonio College to become a registered dental assistant and joined the Cambridge Family Dentistry team in 2018. Olivia loves being part of a team that feels like family and makes each day special, and she enjoys interacting with our patients and getting to know them on a more personal level. She believes in always saying, I can!

Olivia has four wonderful boys, two granddaughters and one grandson. Outside of the office, she enjoys going to the gym, running outdoors, spending time with her family and going on road trips. Her interest in running began as a weight loss journey, but she grew to love it so much that she began to run 5K races, eventually progressing to 10K races and then training and completing half-marathons.

Kristi joined the Cambridge Family Dentistry team as a dental assistant in 2019. Drawing on close to 10 years of experience, she is a rover who assists all the dentists and various patients, as well as with sterilization and stocking. Kristi likes to make a difference in the lives of patients and is a member of the American Dental Association.
