Dr. Michael Golk was born and raised in Orland Hills, IL and attended Carl Sandburg High School. He graduated with his Bachelors Degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine Illinois. In dental school, he was inducted into the National Dental Honors Society (Omicron Kappa Upsilon) for excellence in academics, character, and professionalism.
Dr. Golk believes in a patient-centered approach to dentistry by promoting a relaxed and comfortable experience. He is committed to addressing the patients wants and needs and encourages the patient to become an active participant in their treatment. Dr. Golk firmly believes that a commitment to oral health is important for overall health.
Carie graduated from Prarie State College of Dental Hygiene in 1993. She has worked at Cambridge Dental Care for 20 years!Carie is married and has three children, a girl and two boys. She is a passionate vegan that loves animals, and has two dogs and a cat. Carie also is a huge White Sox and Blackhawks fan!

Easily the friendliest dental staff I've ever encountered and they did a superb job at putting me at ease, having previously had some fairly uncomfortable experiences elsewhere. I live in Chicago, but will happily make the trip to Cambridge Dental Care any day of the week because I know I'll get the best treatment around. Thank you!

First I would like to say that the doctors and staff at this dental office have great energy and take great pride in what they do for their clients. My experience with them was nothing less than amazing. They were caring, attentive and very professional. I will be using and recommending their services to everyone I know seeking dental services moving forward. They have a great team and work very well together and it shows. Great service and highly professional environment. Needed a new dentist and the choice to pick a new one is always intimidating. I chose to go with Dr. Golk and couldn't be happier. During my routine cleaning two areas that needed fillings were discovered. Dr. Golk took the time to explain why they were needed and what fixing them now would prevent in the future. The work was done with care and great attention to detail, I would never know that the work was done! Highly recommend to anyone looking for top tier service.

From the time you walk in the door, the CDC family treats you with kindness. They are professionals who know that some people have had traumatic experiences with dentists. And they take that into consideration when you visit. I am grateful I've never been traumatized by a dentist, but if I had, I would be more than grateful to have found this team. Diane, Donna, Emily and Dr. Golk are top-notch. I would recommend CDCSmiles to anyone who needs dental family. They will take good care of you.
