Rude! Just rude! Don't waste your money on them

The office staff are smart, kind, understanding and very likable. With that said, it was also the most excruciatingly painful times I've ever spent in a dentist chair. EVER. Perhaps it was the rapid succession of the injections, or maybe it was the placement of the needle or the force he used. He was running late, this might have been a way to expedite the surgery. ( Indeed the area was not effectively numbed.) Nonetheless, the pain grew to the level that I had to leave the office for several minutes to try to shake it off and catch my breath, it was to the point of nausea. There was absolutely no doubt that every one of the four injections hurt. He knew, he just did not seem to care. After the fact, he was unconvincingly apologetic. However as we all know, "Sorry don't feed the bulldog". I would recommend this dentist only to masochists, for all others, stay away.

Spectacularly unprofessional, condescending, liars and hucksters. Can confirm experiences of other 1 star reviews.

So glad I got a second opinion here. This dental office was just more professional and caring. The density seems more educated on how to tackle the plan and didn't want to gauge me for money. 10 outta 10 recommend bebe

Where: Camarillo Springs Dental Who: Dentist: Dr. Toor / Office Manager: Michelle What: Deep cleaning and two fillings performed in 35-40 minutes! I have had deep cleanings done before, and I have waited for authorization for this appointment. I was prepared to have this procedure. When: Thursday January 14, 2021 8:00-8:40 No experience of pain along gumline. No jet water flush treatment, which the office manager told me had been done. Office Manager confrontational and insisted that this was done, using legal terminology on me. But it is my mouth." I said. I have had 5 of these in the past and they are not quick and painless procedures. I was ready for that. This was nowhere near even a basic yearly cleaning. She went along THE TOP of my teeth but I never felt anything whatsoever along the gumline where most nerve endings are (and my nerves would have let me know even with lidocaine, I have been convinced by experience.) That is where the periodontal issues that caused this procedure to be authorized are, of course. Dentist insisted that she has a better method of deep cleaning than those that did mine before, at least 4-5 times. Office manager, Michelle, tells me "That's not science!" when I brought up the fact that I have many more nerve endings in my gums than in my teeth, and that they are connected to me, not to her out in the front. End result is got numbed up, for a procedure I having been waiting for months to be authorized to get. I had to reschedule this appointment two times. I am numb for no reason now...and I am the front line worker facing the public. I have to be able to speak for that. Bottom line: I was prepared for a difficult procedure. I have multiple experiences with that. I set time aside to have it done. And I was told that it occurred and I am sure that is was not done. Did they think that because Medi-cal was covering this that they could bill for a procedure that they did not perform that was considered necessary for my health? I had to voice my concerns after verifying what I already knew, that these procedures take time to perform. The front office manager was combative and dishonest when I voiced my concerns. A dentist at this very same office told me years ago that they are done in 4 appointments for quadrants of the mouth. I want to take care of my teeth, my gums and my heart. I only have one and it is my duty to do so. I am firmly convinced that this office failed at their duty to provide the service that they billed insurance for, and that I was supposed to have had done.

It had been years since I went to the dentist consistently for preventative care. I had been told elsewhere I needed periodontal root cleaning and was hesitant so put off treatment. Once I saw Dr. Toor I really felt that I was in good hands and I got the work done, and I'm so glad I finally did. It all went so much better than I expected, but that's because the team was very professional examining and providing with solutions to match my needs and comfort level. And Dr Toor did a great job, I really appreciated all the explanations of what was being done by the whole team, and the successful outcome. Thanks for a positive experience!!

I am lucky that Dr Toor is my dentist! I arrived at my first appointment with significant repair needed. Scary! They created a lengthy treatment plan. My physical and financial comfort directed my treatment. They explained EVERY procedure and cost and presented alternative options. I asked questions, and they were answered. Not one person in the office ever made me feel ashamed or embarrassed about the state of my dental health or the rate I could afford to address the issues. I have spent many hours in their dental chair, and everyone has been very kind and patient. I do not often post reviews, but my appointment with the office this afternoon inspired me to sing their praises!

I waited for a decade to have my wisdom teeth removed because of dread. I was so worried. But all that fear felt so unnecessary after my WONDERFUL experience with this facility. The staff was beyond polite. They explained everything so clearly, and did their best to see me as soon as possible when i called. The procedure took maybe 30 min? And I felt no pain. Not once. Not during the procedure, not during my first week of healing - and most of all not a bit of pain since! I was offered pain meds but believe me when I tell you I did not need to take a single one. Not ever. I couldn't recommend these people enough. GO HERE for the best quality care you can find. Absolutely incredible.

I was referred to this Dentist by my Insurance and they tried to sell me a lot of things I didn't need, then claimed my insurance didn't cover what I really badly needed, a Crown on a back tooth that is cracked and has since become infected. Their Salesperson (Con) Francis said that while they would normally bill insurance $1500 to do the work on the tooth in dire need, if I could pay for it out of pocket it would only cost me $750. (No wonder Insurance is so expensive; What a sham!) So today I called them based on numerous conversations with my Insurance and with other Dentists and asked a Taylor if she could please email me the X-rays taken - WHICH ARE TECHNICALLY AND BY LAW MY PROPERTY - and she agreed to do so. I waited several hours, needing to get treatment badly, and at the end of the day called to see if they had forgotten, only to be told by a rude, insulting Francis that 1) They would not be emailing my X-rays. 2) That they "may" at some point mail them to me, and 3) That there would be a question as to any other Dentist being able to utilize my X-rays as they were authorized for them and it may prevent my getting authorization to receive treatment elsewhere. Amazing! These people were/ are incredibly unprofessional, never even attempting to apologize for their lies and false assurances/ agreements, let alone their attempts previously to steal/ con and are indeed strictly concerned about money and not at all in the care and treatment of patients.

Walked into my appointment today and had a friendly, fantastic experience. Dr. White greeted me at the front desk and the other dental professionals took me in and i was then greeted by another helpful dentist who took care of all my concerns. Was examined, cleaned, flossed, and given a small filling on one of my upper teeth. Everything went smoothly and I was happy with their service. I highly recommend Camarillo Springs Dental to everyone. The location is easy to find also and very beautiful right off the 101 Camarillo grade at Camarillo Springs Rd. You can't miss the building which is right off the exit. Thank you to everyone at this office for the great job well done.
