I have been practicing dentistry since 2015. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, often going hiking or driving up to Mammoth for ski trips. My husband and I have two dogs named Simba and Riley. I also love reading, movie nights, and trying new restaurants.

My son sees Dr. Niloofar Farahani at Camarillo Kid's Dentist & Orthodontics and he had tooth exaction and teeth filling services in the past couple of years. Dr. Farahani is especially wonderful with kids. Office manager Krystal is very knowledge and patient in explaining insurance benefits and processing. Love the office and the Doctor!

I have been taking my 5 kids to this office for 5+ years. We love the staff, they are always smiling, helpful, and knowledgeable. Everyone is great with the kids, making sure to go out of their way to make them feel comfortable. Always a pleasure to walk in and see Krystal's cheerful bright face. 5/5 Would recommend. :)

Military member here, took my kids to this dentist as an in network provider for our insurance (Tricare Dental United Concordia). Received a bill for unpaid service that was all preventative care. I contacted insurance and found out that all services were paid to dentist accept a $76 charge for oral hygiene instruction. Apparently this charge was to tell my kids how to brush their teeth. Poor billing department response, unhelpful, and rude to my wife. Changing providers,,,, any suggestions? Thank you

SUFFERING DAUGHTER....My daughter was refered there by our dentist for an impacted tooth. We went in and was told she needed to get braces and surgery to straighten tooth by pulling it down over the next 2 years. They were ready to put braces on that day. We said okay until we recieved our out of pocket itemized list. I told them I was going to call my insurance company just to makesure cause it seemed extreme. Luckily I did, there prices were almost $1200 over our contracted rate with our dental company. We were over charged for everything like a $168 tooth brush and double charged for retainers. When I found out about overcharge, I called over to billing and Kevin worked hard to correct the error. He stayed in constant contact And emailed me all adjusted info so I didn't have to go in And out of the office. And the price was adjusted which was reasonable. I was happy. During this process I was diagnosis with cancer and had begun chemo treatments. But I was fortunate that my support system which is supper strong so there was going to be no problem getting her to treatments for her braces and surgery, etc. Especially since we live 2 mins away Well the day came to go get the braces placed and start the process. We were told she needed a panoramic xray. As i waited for Kevin to print out contract and paper work, I was suddenly called into the dentist office. As i walked in the dentist had pulled up panoramic xray and started explaining to me how he didn't have the tools or man power to do this procedure. Puzzled I started asking question , mind u I had just had a chemo treatment that morning and I was not hmm how should I say it, had alot of patience. Lol. But needless to say I have never had a doctor tell me he was incapable of doing a job from which he specializes in. Orthodontist deal with braces right? Then he tells me I have to go to UCLA medical center..no number no closer referral. Just drive to LA no problem. He doesn't know if they take my insurance or not. Confused because they were ready to do it when it was $3700 but now when it was down to $2500 they can't. Please DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. I WILL BE LOOKING INTO THIS AND I'M WILLING TO ADJUST THIS POST IF MY 2ND OPINION FOR THE SITUATION HAS THE SAME OUTCOME. OR IF THEY CONTACT ME APOLOGIZE AND PERFORM THE SERVICE. UNTIL THEN I WILL BE POSTING THIS MESSAGE EVERYWHERE I CAN UNTIL CHANGES are made. THE SADEST THING IS MY DAUGHTER IS SUFFERING.

Wow, I am so impressed by the professionalism of this office. The front desk is very friendly and helpful, and Dr. Joey is a delight! My 8 year old daughter has never been so calm at the dentist's office. He has such a playful and fun personality that I was even giggling during the exam! He explained everything to me patiently, making sure I understood where she had a couple cavitites, and even told me how to prevent more.. We have finally found a great dentist, thank you My Kid's Dentist. No idea what the review under me is about.. may even be the wrong office!

First trip for my toddler, he held her down and cleaned until she threw up she was so upset. She was traumatized and wouldn't let us near her mouth for a day. His advice for cleaning? Hold her down twice a day. Spaceship dentist was much more caring and understanding about my child's needs and the cleaning was much gentler and just as effective.
