Dr. Eric Tamsut received his D.M.D. from Temple University in Philadelphia, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He has devoted himself to providing state of the art, minimally invasive care with a gentle touch. Dr, Eric has been trained in the use of today's best dental materials and techniques, and is well versed in all aspects of dentistry from implants and veneers to root canals, extractions, special needs, and sedation dentistry. His passion is listening to his patients' concerns, desires, and ultimate treatment goals and then using them to create an optimal plan for definitive and long lasting dental health. Dr. Eric's guiding philosophy is that every patient that walks in through the doors of Camarillo Family and Cosmetic Dentistry be both happier and healthier when they walk out. He is also a proud member of the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), and Santa Barbara/Ventura County Dental Society.
Dr. Tamsut is a proud native of Thousand Oaks, CA and has practiced dentistry on the east coast and in Santa Barbara before finally settling back home to practice in Camarillo. Dentistry has been his calling since childhood, and to have a practice capable of serving the developmentally disabled community of Ventura, Santa Barbara, and Los Angeles counties has been a dream come true. When he isn't at the office, you might find Dr. Eric out with his friends hiking in the mountains of Southern California or cruising down a wave on his longboard at Surfer's Point.
Dr. Garrett Toy received his D.D.S. from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry and completed his General Practice Residency at Valley Medical Center in Fresno, CA. Dr. Toy has been in private practice in Camarillo, CA since 1988, and has been performing sedation dentistry on patients developmentally disabled and not. Dr. Toys goal is to make his patients feel comfortable and to provide the best oral care possible.
Dr. Toy was born and raised in Southern California. Currently, Dr. Toy is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Santa Barbara/Ventura County Dental Society. When he is not providing dental care, Dr. Toy enjoys all outdoor activities, such as hiking and camping, and spending time with his wife, Julie, and two sons, and Gavin and Spencer.
Dr. Andrew Chen began his undergraduate study in Biomedical Engineering at UCLA. He completed his dental degree at Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC and continued on to specialize in Dental Anesthesiology at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine and UPMC.
Dr. Chen provides general anesthesiology services to patients while Dr. Toy performs all necessary dental work on the patients. Dr. Chen and Dr. Toy work side-by-side to ensure all patients receive the proper care before, during, and after treatment in the office.
Among Dr. Chens leadership and membership experience are roles in the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology, the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology, and the Society for Ambulatory Anesthesiology. Dr. Chen has been published in numerous journals, including the CDA Journal, and is an Assistant Professor at the Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC.
Born and raised in Southern California, Cindy has been the smiling face that greets patients who walk through the door of our Camarillo office for over 30 years. Cindy has been working in the dental industry nearly 35 years. She has her R.D.A. License and worked as a chair-side dental assistant for 13 years, and has since been managing the front office. Cindy is a hands on office manager with comprehensive knowledge in both front office and back office procedures, treatments, and systems. Whether dealing with patient accounts, insurance, and financing or back office x-rays and dental assisting, Cindys extensive knowledge is indispensable. Cindys goal is to make patients feel welcome and comfortable with all treatment and payment plans. Out of the office, Cindy enjoys spending time with her two children, Alex and Samantha, taking excellent care of her animals, and enjoying the outdoors.
Nora Gaytan has been in the dental field since 2005. She graduated from the Oxnard College Dental Hygiene program in 2011 with honors and later went on to earn her Bachelors of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from Eastern Washington University. She also works part time at Oxnard College as a clinical professor.
Nora loves being a hygienist and provides excellent dental care to her patients. Patients have said they like her calm and soothing personality. Disease prevention and oral hygiene instruction are important in the management and well being of her patients.
Nora lives in Camarillo with her husband and two beautiful daughters. In her spare time she enjoys walking, Pilates and scrapbooking. She enjoys giving back to her community and volunteers whenever possible.

Excellent dentist! I cannot recommend Dr. Tamsut more highly! Just had a root canal and was dreading it. The whole process was way better than I expected. He does so much in his office. I was able to get the temporary crown and fitted for the crown on the same day as the root canal. Just got the permanent crown in today and everything is fantastic! He is so nice! He also works with special needs and I witnessed him being truly amazing. He is quite a special person. I feel so lucky to have him for my dentist!

Dr. Eric Tamsut is an amazing dentist; knowledgeable, caring, gentle and clearly very dedicated to his profession. He addressed my issue with total concern to solve the problem with the least amount of treatment...I'm so impressed with his understanding that some people just don't like to go to doctors. Great, young, super-smart dentist - Dr. Eric Tamsut. Wonderful hygienist- I'll be back in 4 months as suggested so it never gets this bad again. However, I must say, what I thought was going to be difficult and costly turned out to be just fine. I even had a good time with the wonderful people at this office. This dentist deserves more stars

A polished and professional dentist. It was very easy to make an appointment, the staff was friendly, and I didn't have to wait; the office is clearly well-run. It's so rare to find a quality dentist who takes appointments after work in the evening. I was also impressed by his gentleness - Dr Eric gave me the most painless cleaning I've ever had.

So grateful to Dr. Eric and his staff. I stopped in here on my way home from work because of a terrible toothache. The office was open that evening. What a fine, wonderful dentist Dr. Eric Tamsut is. He fixed a broken tooth. I did not realize it was broken due to the constant throbbing and thought I had an infection. This dentist is the "real deal" and is so sweet and talented. All around great dentist. I usually hate the dentist but Dr. Eric was really great. Making an appointment was super easy and you can even go in after work for no extra charge. I went to a dentist before that said I needed 4 filings Dr. Eric said I only needed 1 and explained how conservative dentistry is better than doing a bunch of dental work. His treatment did not hurt at all. Dr. Eric gave me advil to use but I didn't even need it after. I live in TO but will be going to Dr. Eric from now on.

I recommend Dr. Tamsut to everyone! Very professional and friendly. He gives straightforward recommendations and thorough cleanings. I don't even live in Camarillo but it is worth the drive.

Excellent dentist who you can trust. I went to Dr. Tamsut for the first time last month and he was great! He's very honest and doesn't do work on teeth unless necessary. He's very upfront and will show you your x-rays and explain everything going on. He's gentle on teeth as well! HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!

I thought I wanted to be sedated for my root canal because I'm terrified of the dentist and that's why I ended up needing a root canal. So I looked for sedation dentistry and called this office and was greeted by a friendly, calming voice who explained that sedation would not be necessary and that I should see Dr. Tamsut who is wonderful. Well, he is. Dr. Eric, as I now call him, is my forever dentist. Thank you Dr. Eric and your exceptional staff. I'm so happy to have found you.

It had been many years since I had been to the dentist, and I was very nervous about my dentist appointment. Turns out there was no reason to be nervous at all! Dr. Eric Tamsut completed my procedures and I didn't feel any pain whatsoever. He was very patient with me, answering all of my questions and explaining everything in understandable detail. His office is affordable, and he's realistic and straightforward about which procedures are actually necessary. I keep recommending Camarillo Family and Cosmetic Dentistry to all of my friends. Whether it's been a while or you go to the dentist regularly, make an appointment with Dr. Eric Tamsut now!

I cannot praise Dr. Eric Tamsut enough. After calling from my car to find a dentist in Camarillo, I was greeted with a welcome from his staff. I came in on the same day, met with the dentist who also did my cleaning so he could get to know my teeth. Dr. Tamsut is now my forever dentist.
