Green dentistry is a broad topic which includes our patients wellbeing as well as the environmentally friendly products and practices implemented in our office. The Eco Dentistry Association defines a green dental practice as a dental office which:
By using eco-friendly, non-toxic products we can benefit the environment as well as your health. We do this by using only non-toxic materials in your treatments, and by using eco-friendly and non-toxic disinfectants to keep our office and equipment clean. We also make every effort to eliminate unnecessary waste by using alternatives to plastic materials and recycling any paper or plastics that we do use. Additionally, we are careful with our use of important resources such as water.
Dental offices also use significant amounts of water. In fact, the average dental office may use as much as 57,000 gallons of water each year. At Calvert Smiles, we use a special dry vacuum system to reduce the amount of water we use.

Shout out to Calvert Smiles. Once again with all of the dental work I have had, they always make you feel comfortable and willing to help. I have had about six visits and I have never seen an upset customer or situation. They are patient and I needed some extensive work done and it looks great. If you are looking for a place where if you or your children have fears, I highly recommend you give them a shot. Like many others it will only take one visit for you to be hooked. They are great.

Today was my first visit to this dentistry office. I am a person who has had tons of dental work and I really dread going to the dentist but the staff here made me feel welcome and so much more comfortable than I was when I walked in the door. I am so thankful thay I found them when I did. They also have such a cute and welcoming waiting area... WOW!!

I went to Calvert Smiles after a failed crown installation at another local dentist. The timeliness, professional care, communication, the medical knowledge, and the quality of the finished tooth has been amazing. Every person in the office is a joy to be around. My entire experience, from start to finish, was and continues to be five stars. I highly recommend Calvert Smiles!

I've had nothing but good experiences with this dental practice. They always fit me in for an "emergency" visit when needed and go the extra mile to make sure I am comfortable with everything they are doing. Super nice staff and make you feel at home. Their dental hygienists are the best.

There was some miscommunication about scheduling that I was trying to correct. Holly and Laura were really nice on the phone and helped resolve some of the confusion. You can tell they actually care about people. Quality customer care and great people.

My husband I had work done with Dr. Flannery and could not be happier with the patient care level we received at Calvert Smiles. After being treated like another paycheck from many other dental practices in the area we found Calvert Smiles. We were seen immediately, as opposed to 2-3 month wait lines we were given by other places. We were greeted with the warmest faces, and had thorough informational briefings before we agreed to do any work. This is a practice for anyone who values mutual respect and thorough work. The assistants make sure you are relaxed as the skillful doctors give you a holistic exam and then treatment. My healthy smile journey would not have been possible elsewhere.

This practice is not for everyone, the service was good, but when it came down to payment, false pretense. Would not refer. I went for a tooth abstraction took 5 hours. was in so much pain for three weeks. gave them a 1000.00 to go towards bridge. I decided not to do the work, they submitted to insurance company as if the work was done. The work had not been done, they would not refund me. This has left a bad taste .

Dr. Halle has been the best dentist I've had the pleasure of having and am thankful I get to visit her for whatever dental needs I have.
