Our Fresno, CA dentists, Dr. Braden Callister and Dr. Don Christensen, are dedicated to their craft and always keep current on the latest technologies to provide you and your loved ones the best dental care possible and the most comfortable treatments and procedures around.
Dr. Braden Callister grew up in Merced, CA. He attended Brigham Young University where he received a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science and then went on to dental school at A.T. Still University Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health. Right after dental school, Dr. Callister spent two years working as an associate dentist in Tulsa, OK, and most recently moved back to the Central Valley to be closer to family and the warm California weather.
Dr. Callister has received awards and recognition from the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) for excellence in both implants and oral surgery. He is a member of the American Dental Association and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). He is Invisalign certified and has also received additional training in implants.
Dr. Callister lived in South Africa for two years while serving a church service mission. He and his wife, Alyssa, have two sons. In his free time, Dr. Callister enjoys spending time with his family, visiting the beach, and camping. He LOVES ice cream and always has 2-3 flavors stocked in the freezer!
Lindsay is our newest hygienist and patients are already raving about how gentle her cleanings are. Lindsay is married and is a new mother. Her and her husband recently welcomed a sweet baby girl in to their family.
Christina has been with our office for ten years and is a Registered Dental Assistant. When we realized how great she was, we moved her to our front desk, where she excels at anything thrown on her plate. She loves learning more about dentistry and has taken continuing education courses in implants, digital dentistry, endodontics (root canals), and many other topics. She is married with two children and loves working and spending time with family and on their farm.
Sonia has been a dental assistant (RDA) for seventeen years and has been working for our office for one year. She has been a great addition to our team and is caring and very knowledgeable. Sonia makes a mean temporary crown!
Joan has always lived in the Fresno area and likes living in this community. She enjoys all that the area has to offer. Joan calls herself a mother, sister, niece, cousin, and friend. She deeply appreciates all the people who help her enjoy a good life.
Joan earned her Bachelor of Science from CSU Fresno Health Science and became a registered dental hygienist. Out of her 28 years in the dental field, Joan has spent the last 16 years right here in our practice.

I actually look forward to seeing Dr. Callister and his professional staff. He uses best practices in keeping his patients Covid safe. Office has a chill vibe. I like his music. I am sticking with Dr. Callister even though I live 35 miles away. Keep up the good work, Dr. Callister and staff. You guys rock.

I had a new patient visit for a cleaning. Hygienist Ashley, made me feel very comfortable with her professionalism and knowledge. The front office staff is very organized, and made it a pleasant experience. Any questions I asked they were answered. Dr. Callister was very approachable during my exam post cleaning and x-rays by the hygienist. Any concerns of Dr. Callister, were shown via X-rays, and exam also. I would recommend this office to all my friends and family. Going to a location that you know the staff and doctor will do their absolute best to be there for you is the best feeling.

I had a great dental experience at Callister Dental. The office is clean and has great technology that was much more comfortable when it came to me getting my x-rays done. Dr. Callister did a good job explaining to me options and not pressuring me into spending a ton of money which is what I feel like my dentists in the past have done. Feel like he genuinely cared that I did what was both for both my smile and my wallet.
