Dr. Chung was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and is a fan of the Golden State Warriors and San Francisco 49ers but don't hold that against him. He attended UC Davis where he graduated with honors in Nutrition Science. He then went on to attend UCLA School of Dentistry where he obtained his DDS. Dr. Chung went on to private practice in Southern California and has been working at California Wave Dental Center in Thousand Oaks since it opened in March 2018.

Complete scam, specially if you are an elderly. My 92 year old dad was scammed, the dentist extracted three teeth at the same time instead of spacing out the procedure, never followed up with him, no further treatment plan. My father was bleeding for days, he can't eat since the Dr extracted his three teeth, he is in constant pain because he has to use his jaws to eat, lost a lot of weight .

Just read all the 5 Star Reviews and know I concur with every one of their positive statements. Dr. Chung is "hands on", thorough & painless, and will not recommend work you don't need. He saved me a ton of grief by doing some simple smoothing of un-cracked teeth rather than several unneeded crowns that were advised by my previous dentist.

Dr. Young H. Chung, DDS is amazing! He is honest and kind. He won't do any work that isn't absolutely necessary. He always tells me up front what is wrong and what needs to be done and gives me options.

By far the best dental clinic I have ever been. Dr.Chung and his staff are super friendly and advise you what is best for you. Dr.Chung is great and treatment was so painless everytime. Hands down!

Wonderful Dental office! I have never been to an office where the entire staff is so warm, friendly & welcoming! They all are so willing to answer your questions and concerns. Dr Chung is an excellent dentist. He is very hands on with his staff and patients. He takes the time to go over any procedure, answer your questions and makes sure you are comfortable throughout it all. This is now our families Dental office !!! Thank you for your excellent service and care!

There are so many dental clinics in the Thousand Oaks area, and it was hard to pick the right one. But after coming to California Wave Dental Center, I knew I made the right decision. How lucky of me! The staff here are all friendly, present, and very knowledgeable in what I need to know in order to take care of my teeth. Visiting them was a very pleasant experience for me.

This has become my family's go to dentist. I've been going to Wave Dental Center since they moved here and they've been great to me and my family. They give thorough examinations, give appropriate treatment plans and the staff are very warm and welcoming. I found they listened to my needs and concerns, handled everything really well and also fit me in well when there was a more urgent need.
