One of the worlds top esthetic dental ceramists, Samuel C. Lee, CDT, MDC, started his career in Seoul, Korea in 1978. In 1986 he founded his own dental studio in Southern California and in 2001, he graduated from the UCLA Master Dental Ceramic Post Graduate Residency Program and became an adjunct faculty for UCLA. Since then, Sam has gone on to study and train under world-renowned dental masters, become a member of the distinguished Art Oral Society, and serve as a technical advisor for several companies. Sam has also published articles for prominent dental magazines and is a frequent lecturer at numerous dental conferences around the world. Noteworthy accomplishments include being awarded at the 2005 Nobel Biocare World Conference and co-authoring Quintessence Publishings Esthetic Analysis in 2012. Through his remarkable training and experience, Sam has developed a unique concept of esthetic restorations: The California Smile.
My treatment philosophy is to focus not only on restorations, but also on the patients emotions. The Emotion of Excellence is not something we give to the patient. It is something we develop together through understanding. It takes the commitment, dedication, and understanding of everyone involved throughout the entire process.

This guy Sam is not just an ordinary dentist he is extra ordinary. He knows how to make people smile with bright white teeth. Very Profational and clean work he worked on my teeth and it turned out very nice and loving it. Thanks Dr. Sam you are the best!

Sammy is the best! I'm missing two teeth (born without the buds) and it was time to replace the bridge I've had for 20 years. It's extremely stressful to do as it's my smile and so affects how I look. Sammy took so much time to ensure it looked absolutely perfect, including repainting it the day it was officially being put in to make sure it was the perfect color. I absolutely love it!

I had an amazing experience with Sam and California Smile Dental Studio. I suffered a severe dental injury in the second grade where I lost and chipped permanent teeth. After root canals, infections, and worsening trauma, the teeth had become smaller and discolored and something that I was always thinking about. For so long, I wanted a perfect smile where my teeth were the right size, looked real, and made me want to smile. In pictures, I would always smile without showing my teeth because I was always self-conscious about them. Now, I love the way I smile and I cannot thank Sam enough for his brilliant work. Given these circumstances, it is very challenging to make veneers look real, but Sam made them look perfect. He would stay at his office late and coordinate with my dentist who was doing the other work, and his dedication to me felt truly personal. He is incredibly knowledgeable, and wants you to know what is happening as well. He consciously took the time to analogize the procedure and the challenges that lay in front of us, but also where the solution was. I would truly recommend Sam and California Smile Dental Studio to anybody.

They have super friendly staff who are very accommodating. They helped facilitate my appointment with their office and my dental office for a color matching procedure. My project was definitely harder given that I only needed 1 veneer instead of a whole set, but it came out great and matches my other teeth perfectly. Definitely recommend going here!

Very friendly and professional. They prioritize your needs and try their best. In my case, they actually exceeded my expectations. The qualities of the crowns, especially color shading, were fantastic. I'm really happy for the work that they've done for me.

I had the tremendous fortune to meet Sam and his professional team a couple months ago. The quality of work they did at re-constructing my smile and confidence was truly amazing. There facility is clean, extremely precise and so very concise at performing the best final product possible.

I'm very happy with the work that Sam did for me. His creation is truly a piece of art. Sam does an amazing job with matching colors so the crown blends flawlessly with the rest of your smile. He takes loads of pictures , up close, to get things just right.

I am very glad I got my crowns made by Sam Lee. He is a perfectionist and I actually enjoyed all the office visits. He took many photos from every possible angle, and crafted the crowns on a sophisticated computer system. On top of that, he really cared about every concern I had. The results made me look like myself--but better. Nobody suspected I had any dental work done, yet I feel younger and prettier. I highly recommend this place!
