Dr. Jeff Evans grew up in Bountiful, Utah. After graduating with a degree in finance from the University of Utah, he began his career working as a financial planner for Fidelity Investments. After two years at Fidelity Dr. Evans made a major career change and returned to school to pursue his interest in dentistry.

Dr. Evans graduated from the Virginia Commonwealth School of Dentistry in Richmond, VA followed by a two year pediatric dental residency at the University of Tennessee. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and board certified with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He has hospital privileges at both Children's Hospital Central California and Kaiser Permanente Fresno Medical Center.

Throughout college Dr. Evans taught ski school to four and five year old children. He was able to help many children who were timid or frightened about learning to ski and he enjoyed seeing how proud the children felt when showing off their newly attained skiing skills to their parents. As a ski instructor Dr. Evans goal was to help his students enjoy skiing so they would want to come back and he follows this same philosophy when it comes to practicing dentistry. He loves working with kids and will do his best to make your child's experience at the dentist office a great one so they will look forward to future visits.

Dr. Jeff Kunkel grew up in the Pacific Northwest in Spokane, WA. He went onto college at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah where he graduated with a BS in Biology. In 2005 he graduated from the UCLA School of Dentistry. Following dental school Dr. Kunkel completed a year long residency at the University of Utah Hospital gaining advanced training in various dental specialties. Dr. Kunkel then practiced family dentistry for an additional three years where he realized his interest was working with children.

Dr. Kunkel attended the University of Tennessee in Memphis for a two year pediatric dental residency and a Richard C. Pugh Achievement Award recipient. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and board certified with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

As the father of five children, one of which has developmental dental problems, Dr. Kunkel understands and appreciates the difficulty of keeping a childs teeth healthy. For most children, going to the dentist is scary. Dr. Kunkel has the experience and skill set necessary to provide the best possible treatment for your child while helping them feel comfortable.

When Dr. Kunkel is not at the office, he is busy with his five children and wife Rachelle, a homemaker, labor and delivery nurse, diving coach and former Olympian. The Kunkel family enjoys going to the surrounding national parks, ocean, hanging out with family and friends and watching movies.

Dr. Jordan Prieto was born in Fresno and raised in Clovis, CA. He graduated from Buchanan High School. After high school, he attended CSU Fresno where he received a scholarship to play baseball. He graduated magna cum laude from CSU Fresno, earning a Bachelor of Science degree. In 2010, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Ostrow School of Dentistry of University of Southern California. He received the Thor Award and the Charles M. and Shirley Goldstein Endowed Community Service Award, both honoring his outstanding dedication and service in providing dental care to children in underserved communities while at USC.

Following graduation from USC, he completed a 2 year pediatric dental residency at Louisiana State University in affiliation with Childrens Hospital of New Orleans. During this time he received extensive clinical, emergency, and hospital training, education on the growth and development of children, and the treatment of medically and physically compromised patients.

Dr Prieto is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Dental Association, Fresno Madera Dental Society, and the American Dental Association. Dr Prieto enjoys creating a positive, comfortable experience for his patients. He believes that prevention of dental disease is the most critical factor to establishing a happy, healthy smile that will last a lifetime.

Dr Prieto feels truly blessed to have been able to fulfill his lifelong dream of making a difference in the lives of children on a daily basis. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife Kristen and their daughter Nola. Together they enjoy traveling, spending time with friends and family, and being outdoors.

Dr. Adriana Ustarez-Oji, also known as Dr. Addie, grew up in Los Angeles. She wanted to become a dentist at the age of thirteen, after going to her mothers dental assisting classes during the Summer of 1993. She went on to obtain her B.S. degree in Biological Sciences from California State University, Los Angeles and receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California San Francisco. Thereafter, she completed a General Practice Residency at Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, California.

As a resident, Dr. Addie fell in love with the people and the lifestyle of the Central Valley. Following residency, she decided to practice as a family dentist for Family Healthcare Network in Visalia where she spent five years. While working at FHCN, Dr. Addie realized that she enjoyed dentistry most when working with children. As a result, she returned to residency at UCLA where she completed her training in Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Addie is mommy to Owen and Chloe, and wife to George. They mean the world to her. When Dr. Addie is not in the office, she enjoys creating new memories with her family. As a mom, she understands first hand that children are a parents most prized asset and as such, she treats every child under her care as if they were her own. It is a goal of Dr. Addie that all children have access to quality oral healthcare in a nurturing and caring environment.
