Dr. Sun graduated from University of Southern California. He has over 30 years dental experience and over 20 years Implant Dentistry experience. He has placed over ten thousands dental implants during the past years earning him the unique title as a Diplomate Implantologist in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Sunhas a good sense of humor and swift hand skills that allow him to perform dental procedures quickly and painlessly. He has been earning his patients through his positive attitude, kindness, and honesty. He is a member of American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and International Congress of Oral Implantologists. His hobbies include swimming, basketball, and golf. Besides English, Dr. Sun is fluent in Mandarin, his native language.
Dr. Bo Kang is from South Korea but grew up in New York most of her life. She did her undergraduate studies at Binghamton University in New York where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology.
She then attended Stony Brook University in New York and obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2001. She continued on to complete her postgraduate studies at Stony Brook University and earned an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) degree. During her residency, she participated in the Oral Cancer Program where she expanded her knowledge and got hands on experience at the local hospital.
She treats patients of all ages and enjoys all aspects of dentistry. Her goal is to treat all patients as she would her own family members and making everyone feel special and comfortable. She is a provider of both Invisalign (Clear Braces) and Six Month Smiles (Short Term Orthodontics).
Dr. Tamgraduatedmagna cumlaudewith a majorin Microbiologyand a minor in Dance fromUC San Diego.She continuedher education at UCLA School of Dentistry, where she receivedher dental degree graduating summa cum laude.With a strong interest in refining her skills and knowledge in Periodontics, shedecided to continue her trainingat UCLA School of Dentistry for anadditional three years, completing aresidency in Post Graduate Periodontics and Dental Implant Surgery.
Dr.Tam is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. A Diplomate is a periodontist who has made significant achievements beyond the mandatory educational requirements of the specialty and who is certified by the American Board of Periodontology.
Dr. Tam has served as clinical faculty for the UCLA School of Dentistry and the Dental Hygiene Program at Pasadena City College. Dr. Tam also spends time lecturing for various dental studygroups for continuing education for dentists.
Cindy hasbeen working with Dr. Sun for 13 years, first as an assistant and now as a general manager. She graduated from Dentistry of China Medical University. She received Certificate of Advanced Training from the Prosthodontics & Orthodontics Program at Dentistry of China Medical University. She manages Arcadia, Diamond Bar, and Irvine offices and can answer any questions you have about dental treatment and concerns in both English and Mandarin.
Yvette has been with Dr. Sun for over 10 years. She has a bright and bubbly personality and treats all patients like family. She specializes in insurance billing and can answer any questions you have about your dental treatment.
Pilar has been Dr. Sun's assistant for 12 years. She treats all our patients with care and compassion and puts them at ease through surgeries and procedures. Working along side Dr. Sun for many years, Pilar knows all about implants, braces, and other dental procedures. When she is not helping patients, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her two kids. Besides English, she is also fluent in Spanish.

I made a appointment, I was told that consultation was free. I went in only to be told he could not take my case. Then I received a bill from my insurance company that he charged a ridiculous amount for the consultation.

Dr Tran is a good dentist with exceptional skills of extraction & knowledge for prevention of cavities. She has a very pleasant happy personality thar really makes a patient comfortable during deep cleaning and even an extraction. Certainly, Dr Sun is great with exceptional experience & extremely skillful with implants. Cindy is very polite, caring & helpful for patients. Overall this is good dentist office with great helpful staffs. I have been a patient for the last decade.

DDS David Sun is the most important part of this office being as great as it is I've had plenty of dental work in my life and I'm pleased to say he is one of the finest dentist I've ever seen and my wife is very pleased also has braces and had a implant and teeth whitening and loves getting her teeth cared for here.

My brackets fell off a few times and I owned up to my mistakes, no harm no fouls. He puts my bottom row on and only the ones in the back comes out. My bottom teeth caves in and so they put stopper so my top teeth doesn't chomp on the bottom but it still does. The four times my bottom bracket fell off, i was eating bread and noodles. I try to tell them it shouldnt be my fault but once i tethey get so defensive. Nice people other wise.

Dr. Sun and his staffs are all very kind. Dr Sun is one of the best dentist for implant. Both my husband and I have implants done by Dr Sun. We are so grateful for his treatment. Another dentist Meiling did a remarkable job on my tooth cleaning. I highly recommend this dental clinic.

Very professional environment. Pillar is a PHENAMONAL assistant knows what she is doing informs you about treatment before it's done she makes our visit fun . Dr Tran is AMAZING she dose all my kids teeth without anesthetic My children who are 14,6,4 years of age love coming to their Dentist appt. Dr sun is an outstanding Dentist he dose crowns, implants braces ,almost every dental need . The hygienist is very gentel and and great at cleaning teeth .

I have been Dr David Sun patient for many years and this is the first time that I went to his Diamond Bar office. The facility is modern and open spaced. It was a very pleasant visit to have one of my tooth pulled during this time of Covid-19. The assistance was very efficient and courteous.
