Dr. Petrosyan has over 20 years of experience and is committed to providing the absolute best in quality, thorough, and gentle dental care for every patient. He treats his patients like family and is also great with kids.
Dr. Petrosyan is meticulous in providing the absolute best results in all of his cosmetic procedures. He finished his Bachelors of Science degree with high honors at the prestigious University of Southern California (USC). Then he was accepted to one of the most top-rated dental schools in the country at the University of Southern California. Here, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, graduating at the top 10% of his class. During his school years, he took great satisfaction in being part of mission trips traveling abroad to provide volunteer dental care for orphans in underprivileged areas in regions of Mexico, Belize, and Armenia.
Dr. Petrosyan is a member in good standing with the American Dental Association (ADA), the California Dental Association (CDA) and the San Fernando Valley Dental Society (SFVDS). He is well versed in aesthetic dentistry from porcelain veneers, lumineers, to cosmetic bonding. Dr. Petrosyan has training from one of the world-renowned oral implantologist at the Nobel Biocare implant institute. He is also active in continuing his education and providing the best dental care to patients of all ages.
Dr. P. (as hes known to his patients) has become fluent in speaking the Spanish language. The large Spanish speaking community of Los Angeles loves communicating with him in Spanish. He is also fluent in his native language, Armenian. In his spare time, he enjoys spending quality time and traveling with his wife and two children. He is blessed to be surrounded by a great group of family and friends. He is also a big foodie and enjoys tasting cuisine from different cultures.

Our first visit here and I am very much impressed. Dr Petrosyan was wonderful with my 6 year old and 9 year old. I'm looking forward to coming back to this Dentist Update 2022 - we've been going to see Dr Petrosyan for years now and he is easily the best I've ever been to. I can't say enough that I truly believe you'll be satisfied coming here

I've spent a long time looking for a good Dentist and I finally found one where I'm comfortable. The entire staff is friendly and happy to be at work! So far I've had a root canal and a couple fillings & I was amazed by the little to no pain during and after. The place is also really clean & organized

I can't say enough good things about Dr. P!!!! I've been a patient of his for 5 years and I am so glad I found him! I have severe dental anxiety but I no longer have to mentally prepare to go into the office! I feel calm when I'm there. Dr P. Is a very accredited dentist and I love that he explains everything, he is very gentle and patient and kind. His office is so clean and organized. His staff and assistants have a great attitude and they always make me feel so welcome! The other dentist, Dr.A, has worked on me and I love her as well! Highly highly recommend!!!! So thankful I'm in good hands!

I been coming to this dentist for a few years, I thought the doctor was great but their new policies have made it difficult to stay. You can only use care credit if you spend 300 dollars. The financial manager over charged me for the procedures, I call my dental provider and confirmed that it should be less. If you don't confirm an appt, they automatically drop you, they won't try to call your other telephone numbers. It use to be a good place but now there are too many rules. If you need a crown, you have to go to another place, they only do basic things. The reviews are bribed by having you enter a raffle if you leave a review so the reviews could be false.

This used to be my favorite dentist, I've been a patient since 2016 and brought my entire family along. I even recommended him to friends and other family members. But, the office staff ( 2 in particular) the office manager Mr. RAMIREZ AND THE LADY IN THE front. Sorry, I don't know her name, but she answers the phone and has colored eyes. I gave her my information to verify my insurance via phone and 2 days later she called stating that it was denied. I explained that that's a mistake I am employed and have insurance. I contacted my HR and had it verified but she insisted it was denied. I called the endodontist who saw me a week prior and they pulled up my insurance with no problem. I FORWARDED TO HER AND RAMIREZ, they insisted it was denied. The day of my appointment, I asked what social and zip code she had inputted, she reads it back and my social and zip code is WRONG. She had the audacity to say that I gave her the wrong social. A lot of unnecessary phone calls and stress could have been avoided if this lady would have verified the information instead of just repeating that my insurance was expired. She was too Busy talking and didn't take time to LISTEN. She didn't believe me that I knew I had insurance and a PPO insurance. The office manager Mr. RAMIREZ , treated me like it was my fault that they had wrong information. These two need to GO!!! I hope Dr. PETROSYAN reads this and holds his office staff accountable. A simple verification of information would have kept 5 patients from walking out of your dental office! This used to be the best, get some people with common sense in your office again, dr. PETROSYAN. P

I honestly cannot complain about the staff, the staff incredibly nice. The only 2 that deserve 1 star (if I could give no stars I would), is Dr. Arman Petrosyan and the Office Manager Marcos Ramirez. First of all, my 9 year old son has had bad experiences at the Dental Office that he used to go to, when I found California Dental, I thought I had finally found a reliable Dental Office, when it came time to Dr. Petrosyan doing dental work on my son, my Son would cry and Dr. Petrosyan would get very frustrated, he has no patience, I would notice him get a little rough with my son. Second, Marcos Ramirez tried charging me for a treatment that was not needed nor did the doctor say that I needed, Marcos just assumed and wanted to charge me $150. (the new female doctor there, I don't know her name). I questioned it and mentioned it to the doctor and she asked her staff to let Marcos know that I did not need that treatment of $150. I was also sent to get a retreatment for a root canal with an Endodontics, they recommended a crown on that tooth. When Marcos sent me the treatment plan with pricing and options for the crown, the price really surprised me because it seemed very expensive even with insurance, so I called my insurance to give them the codes and prices provided by Marcos, they called Marcos on the phone to explain to him that I should not be paying $700, I should only be paying my copay of $185, Marcos right away had an attitude with the Representative from my insurance and said that he needed to talk to Dr. Petrosyan first. And because Dr. Petrosyan knew I had been wanting to get that tooth fixed, he ignored the fact that the Endodontics recommended the crown on the tooth where I had the root canal treated, and tried telling me that I didn't need a crown and if I wanted it I would pay out of pocket. I feel like they got upset because this was the second time that I caught them trying to over charge me and I questioned them on it and even involved my insurance. I do not recommend them at all, if you are not careful, they will over charge you and for things that are not even needed. Dr. Petrosyan was very rude and so was Marcos. I would not recommend this Dental Office due to Dr. Petrosyan and Marcos.

If they are this polite and helpful being this many states away I can't imagine what they are like in person. Thank you guys so much for the guidance.

California Dental provides superior dental care. Dr. Petrosyan is a wonderful dentist who provides excellent care for his patients. The staff is helpful and is always dedicated to providing the best service. The office is well-run and clean. California Dental is a great place to receive dental care, and I highly recommend it.

Really glad I found this place. I've always been terrified of the dentist, but needed a lot of dental work. I was referred to California dental by a close friend and couldn't be happier. Great service, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. They worked with my medical insurance and made it the easiest process ever. Would totally recommend to anyone looking for a new dentist

The Dr and all the staff here are beyond words, extremely nice and very professional. Their new location is beautiful, very nice, clean, new, modern, plenty of parking, i luv it. Finding a good dentist is never easy. Esp when u have worked in the dental field in the past. The staff and environment is important, not just how the patients are treated but how the staff is amongst each other. And knowing that all the staff here has been with the office 14years +.... now that shows alot.
