!!!BEWARE!!!! THEY SCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS WITHOUT CONFIRMATION!!! They scheduled an appointment for my kids after a visit without notifying me and as a result we "missed" an appointment that resulted in an overdue bill of $330 Unlike other schedule based services, they made no attempt of any form to remind us or confirm the appointment.

Got my wisdom teeth removal here by Dr. Gilmore last Oct. 2021. Every one was very professional and took care of me. They prepared me before surgery and also after, so that I am knowledgeable to care of myself properly.

Everyone is super nice, respectful, and professional. I (Franchesca) am writing this review, (Ane's Mom). Everyone took care of my daughter and made sure she was comfortable, we never have to wait long for them to get us into our appointment. They are very organized and help my daughter through a filling with little to no pain. We love going to California Dental Care & Orthodontics, Plus my daughter always says that her dentist is coool. She never has a dull moment here, everyone is so nice.

I went here for a long time- as did many of my family members. But I will only speak to my own experience. Things were generally okay. A series of health events caused my oral health to decline - and that is not this office's fault. BUT- Over the past 10 years, they missed so many things while looking at my mouth. TO BE CLEAR - the general dentists have been great. Dr. Miller, Dr. Jones, Dr. Armand were all great. The one issue that let to my mouth disaster is one particular hygienist (and I dont think she is there anymore). She was using her role in hygiene to play dentist, telling the actual educated and trained dentists "that is just a stain on her tooth, she does not need xrays" rinse and repeat for 4 appoints in a row. That is approximately 2 years I had gone without xrays (which are covered by insurance to have done every 6 months). Fast forward to a year-ish ago, maybe around March 2021. The tooth that this person insisted was stained has a cavity. When they try to fill it, they are unable to because it is bleeding heavily. Now it needs a crown. FAST FORWARD to two weeks ago. The pain starts. Now TODAY 6/9/22 I am currently recovering from my root canal on this tooth- the crown failed. The root canal was diagnosed by a different dentist. I imagine that if I had stayed at this office, they would have gaslighted me and told me that nothing was wrong with my tooth. They had done this before with other teeth, asking me "why do you think you have a cavity?", and apparently "there is a huge hole in my tooth" is not a good enough answer. BY THE WAY- those three cavities turned out to be crowns also. When I left this practice, they really tried to get me to stay and one of the office ladies told me that moving to a new office was a really bad idea for me. On the contrary, upon my first appointment at my new dentist, I am diagnosed with 11 (yes ELEVEN) cavities. How does someone who goes to the dentist every 6 months have 11 cavities in her mouth only four months after her last 6-month checkup? The answer? Someone who has been ripped off by her old dentist. All of my 11 fillings have since been filled, and I have had my first root canal. It is June and I have already blown the benefit from my own insurance and my mother's insurance. California Dental only wants your money. They neglect your teeth so that your conditions worsen, so that down the line they can make more money off of you. All those x-rays they didnt do still got charged to the insurance. CA Dental reps, do not reach out to me. I am NEVER coming back, and my opinion of you (much like my teeth) will NEVER be the same.

Gonna sue these a-holes civilly, as well as file a regulatory complaint with the California Dental Board. In my opinion, any 1-star reviews that suggests that these people are scammers/ripoff artists - you might want to believe it! My instincts were telling me not to visit a dentist right across from a liquor store. The hell is that? My only regret is that I can't give these clowns a 0 or minus star review.

They replaced a Crown It fell off a week later And they won't even take a walk in to glue it back in they want me to miss A-day of work for 5 minutes of their time to me that's terrible customer service I recommend go somewhere else

I want to let all the moms and dads know this place is a scam. They will take advantage of your bank account and the love you have for your children. They do not care about your child's smile just the money. They are way overpriced and will try to sell you huge packages. They are not friendly and rough with your children's mouths. There sales pitches try to real you in thinking that you need more for your child than you really do. Good luck if you choose them. Look elsewhere

I took my 2 year old for her first time to the dentist here. Overall we had a good experience. The only part I was disappointed and surprised with was the treatment plan for her cavity, specifically the parent not being allowed in the room during the filling. I also felt very uneasy about the platform they planned to strap her to during treatment. Followed my gut and I called many other dentists, talked to a few fellow moms, and found these are somewhat rare procedures. So we are going elsewhere for treatment. Still, we had a good experience as a first checkup. The staff was very professional, kind and informative. They explained their reasons well for their procedures, I just wish I would've known about them beforehand since now we're starting new elsewhere.
