Welcome to California Coast Dental Arts. We opened our doors in March 2005 and have since impressed and received praises from our patients, colleagues, and the surrounding community. The state of the art treatment rooms offer a relaxing atmosphere without sacrificing personal care and attention to each individual. We have integrated technological advances such as digital radiography (which reduces the amount of radiation up to 90% versus traditional x-rays) and intra-oral cameras in the rooms in order to work together with each individual patient to aid him/her to obtain optimal oral health.
For individuals who fear dental procedures, we offer the ability to listen to music with individual headphones or to watch DVDs while receiving dental care. We also offer services that may ease dental anxiety such as oral sedation and nitrous oxide (laughing gas) to make your visit a pleasant one. At California Coast Dental Arts, we believe in treating our patients like family; which includes wanting and giving them the best dentistry we can provide. Dr. Chan and his staff are warm and friendly professionals who take a personal interest in all their patients dental needs. By creating a relaxing and informal atmosphere, we offer excellent dentistry which includes: employing tested innovative techniques, the finest materials and utilizing superior dental laboratories. We strive to provide excellent results by advancing our professional knowledge through continuing education classes and working hand in hand with each individual patients needs.
Born and raised in San Diego, CA, she brings 10 plus years of experience in the dental field. Sandra lives in Oceanside with her son and when not in the office, she enjoys traveling and trying out new restaurants! She is always happy to help assist you in any of your front office needs.
Chelsea is an RDA who started working in the dental field in 2015 following her cosmetology career. She was born and raised in southern Indiana. The sunshine, more opportunities, and city life brought her here to Oceanside. Chelsea always has on a smile and just wants you to have fun. Her goal is to make patients feel happy, comfortable, and confident. Outside of the office she loves spending quality time with her husband and two fur babies. During the summer you will always find her at the beach soaking up the sun .
Marylu is native to southern California. After graduating from Oceanside High School she attended Kaplan college for dental assisting in 2013. She enjoys working chairside with the patients and getting to know them. When she is outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her fiance and her two children. They enjoy visiting Sea World and the beach.
Candi graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. Shes worked in both small and large dental practices and also worked as a clinical dental hygiene instructor at the University of Minnesota. Candi joined Dr Chans office in 2009. Candi and her husband have two sons. They enjoy watching their boys play baseball and also enjoy spending time at the beach.
I was raised in Southern California. I completed my dental hygiene degree from Moreno Valley college in 2012. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, and hiking with my jack russell terrier.
Raised on the island of Guam since the age of three, I enjoyed island living until moving to Los Angeles to attend the University of Southern California. I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Biological Sciences in 1996 with an emphasis on Marine Biology and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2001.
I established my own practice in Oceanside, California building it from the ground up in 2005. While building California Coast Dental Arts, I became a part-time faculty member at USCs Dental School teaching restorative techniques to prepare the dental students to work in a clinical environment. Although I enjoyed teaching and explaining the logic behind techniques and procedures to dental students; our triplets, a growing practice and the commute prevented me from continuing. However, I have been able to perform free dental screenings on behalf of the Oceanside Unified School District since 2008.

I love this office. They are so caring and professional. They will never recommend work you don't need and they will put you at ease. The whole staff is always warm and welcoming. Let's face it no one ever wants to go to the dentist, but they make the process a lot easier. I hope I never have to switch !

Been a patient for Almost 18 years. Trust him explicitly and the rest of my family are patients. His technique is smooth and little or no pain depending on the procedure. The hygienists efficient and professional. Highly recommend this dentist.

I've been seeing Dr. Chan since 2004 and hope I never have to use another dentist again. Dr. Chan and his staff and personable as well as professional. I always feel welcomed and cared for by all of the staff. Dr. Chan stands by his work and has never attempted to sell me something I don't need. Rare to find such a hospitable practice these days!

I really was comfortable at this dentist office. Everyone was so nice, I had an exam and cleaning. I think that this is my new dentist. I definitely will be back again, give them a try and you will see.

Dr. Chan and staff are the most professional group I've encountered since I came to CA 6 yrs ago. I've tried 3 others and not been satisfied. He's honest and takes his time with each patient. You can tell that he loves what he does. You definitely will love this dental group.

I have been going to Dr. Chan for many years. I have so many stories to say as to why Dr. Chan is one of my Best Dentist,that I have had and all his staff members that work in the office. I have seen a lot of staff members come and go and was sad and was sincerely missed, but Dr. Chad seems to always get the best staff members. I have an always will recommend Dr. Chan to be their dentist. if you ever get Dr. Chan in your network to be You are dentist, You will never regret choosing him. Excellent office and I read them as 10 stars!!!!!!!

I cannot say that I enjoy the experience of routine cleaning but the staff at CCDA make it better than expected and I am always happy with the results. Everyone is very friendly. My hygienist is a treasure. So happy to be a patient there.

Cleaning by hygienist was easy and comfortable. She was very pleasant and made me feel at ease. Moreover, she was gentle and mostly used some new-fangled gadget that replaced scraping the plaque off. The exam by the dentist was thorough. She looked for signs of problems not only in my mouth but in surrounding areas. Her demeanor reflected confidence and professionalism plus she was cordial. I'd recommend the office w/o reservation.
