The waiting area they made it smaller, I felt too close to people. And the wait time was over an hr. And when I checked it they could have told me that they were running behind schedule.

I am extremely disappointed with CaliDental in Santa Maria, their communication is much to be desired, and there's only communication when I ask questions, then my questions aren't really answered, this is MAJOR surgery I require on my mouth, I need to be told what's happening in order to calm my anxiety & fears, my insurance already approved me for them to perform the necessary procedures on me, so it's not like I can start over at a different dental office, this dental office made it my responsibility to find an oral surgeon, I find one and called them to make my appointment to have my teeth extracted, ALL my teeth, YIKES!, the oral surgeons office asked if I had a referral from my dental office, I do not, she then tells me, until I get a referral, they can't schedule an appointment for me, Now shouldn't CaliDental have already known that?!, they never even provided me with a list of oral surgeons in my area, It was my responsibility to find them, the day before my last appointment, which their oral surgeon was to extract my teeth, (he's only in their office every 2 months, making it necessary to find my own oral surgeon), they waited until the day before to have a letter from my primary care Dr., that says Im healthy enough to undergo the procedure, mind you, I started this process over a year ago!, I'm frustrated to say the least, I shared my frustration with the girl on the phone, crickets, she didn't say anything!, no I'm sorry, I'll talk to the office manager on your behalf, NOTHING!!

My 84-year-old mother had her first visit there yesterday morning and she was so impressed. The dentist was so gentle with her, she said it's the first teeth cleaning that she's had that did not hurt. My mom likes things that are new and updated and clean, this checked all the boxes, she said she could sit in the dental chair and watch a movie on the TV that was in there the exam room! she said it was the most comfortable chair, everything was new , everything was clean. She was treated so kindly one of the receptionists at the front desk walked her out to her car with her walker helped her get in her car and put the walker in the car for her. She said that is the nicest dental office she's been in. She absolutely loved the dentist , so kind and so gentle with an elderly lady.

Employee Lesley told me when I complained about service that if I did not like service here I could go somewhere else. This is after I had already sign a contract for service where I would have to pay a fee to cancel service.

They change plans on you on the day of appointment =(, told me my exrays were not covered under my insurance, when clearly they are! Twice a year. Wanted me to pay out of pocket, no thanks. That's why I'm paying for Dental insurance. They seem like they're really hurting for $

My experiences at Cali Dental have been amazing. Doctor Azad is very professional,friendly and most importantly he makes feel at ease. His assistants are are also friendly and very pleasant. I would recomend this office over some others in town.

This place is the worst dental place that ever opened up. You think Western Dental is bad. This place makes Western dental look like an angel sent from above. They ruined my teeth they kept changing my treatment plan. If you like being used as a guinea pig that's the place to go.
