When dr blake price was at this office it was very organized and always a pleasant experience. I've been going here since 2017 but will not be returning after this week, having to leave work early for 3 days in a row and losing $300 in pay to keep reattaching a temporary crown that repeatedly popped off. The "assistant" that kept reattaching the crown because the dr was out of the office, was using cement that they're "experimenting with" and it lasted 4 hrs the first day, maybe 7 hrs the second day. On day 3 thank God the permanent crown had showed up and the dr was actually in the office to attach it. There is always some kind of issue with this place. The dr is always out for some sort of reason. There is no transparency on pricing and they argue with you about what insurance will pay for. The one receptionist wants to get smart mouth every time my wife calls with any questions. They play on their phones behind the desk while people are waiting to be seen. It's felt for a while like all they're after is your money. What did it for me is on day 3 of having to lose more money and leave work I did not get 1 apology or anything for all the trouble! But when I was leaving they sure asked if I was ready to schedule any more work and take more of my money! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else

Calcasieu Dental is an amazing office. Dr. Mahia is the best. I had the chance of experiencing Tara's excellent service today. There is one receptionist there with long black hair with tattoos(sorry, I forgot her name) she's amazing as well. They make you feel like family. If you're not patients of there's, you're definitely missing out.

Price gouging both my wife and I. Charging me for a different kind of cleaning at 80% when my yearly cleaning has alway been covered at 100%. Looking for a new dentist. I don't trust this one anymore after 9 years of being loyal.

Alright you guys: y'all are all kinds of inspirational with your Girl Power staff you have going on! And I really wanted to give 5 stars because I genuinely appreciate the care and concern that was given and shown. But you guys took my teeth out, told me I couldn't smoke (nor drink because of the antibiotics) and THEN proceeded to forget to put my birthday on my prescriptions! The irony of needing both a cig and a drink at the same time after this wild morning! You chapped me guys, you chapped me! Because this anesthesia that we worked SO hard to put into effect is now being very ineffective as of the dual trip to Lake Charles to get my corrected prescriptions. And then I had to be the 5th car in line at the pharmacy TWICE you guys...TWO whole times!! Overall, you guys are bomb diggity and thank you so much for smoothing over "The Happening" as swiftly as you did!

I have been trying for almost a year to get my Boys seen. After several canceled appointments, not by me. There appointment this morning was again canceled an hour before we were to be there. I get a phone call telling me that the Dr. had an emergency. Now, I understand emergencies, but why can your office not give me a new appointment before June. I again today have taken time from my schedule for this, my boys are going to miss class with no excuse, and your office can't make time for me to be seen before June!! This is just unprofessional.

I was treated with the utmost respect and courtesy during my visit at Calcasieu dental. I would recommend this dentists practice to anyone.
