Dr. Gerard Sabat graduated from the Loma Linda School of Dentistry and is excited to practice in the area he grew up in. He loves the dental field because hes able to form and maintain lifelong relationships with his patients. Dr. Sabat believes that every patient is unique, and he strives to provide individualized care based on their needs. Hell work with you to come up with a custom dental health plan.
Dr. Sabat was an assistant professor at the Loma Linda School of Dentistry and hopes to get back to teaching in his free time once his kids grow up. Meanwhile, he is busy riding dirt bikes, playing his trombone in the Loma Linda University Church brass group and orchestra, golfing, camping with his family, and enjoying pretty much any outdoor activity!
Sarah Onodera brings over 30 years of experience to Cajon Dental. She values and nurtures relationships with our patients. Her personality, sense of humor, and experience allows our patients to feel comfortable and confident in the care they receive. It is not uncommon for patients to become lifelong friends! Sarah, her husband Tony, and their two kids, Alex and Keenan, enjoy an active lifestyle, skiing, camping, and riding their sand rail. Her favorite activity is Zumba, and she loves spending time with her family, friends, and Louie, her 2-year-old Weimaraner.
Sharisa Dunn has been a hygienist for over 14 years, and she has worked in both Northern and Southern California. She enjoys getting to know her patients and takes pride in seeing them become healthier with the individualized treatment Cajon Dental provides. Sharisa and her husband live in Running Springs with their two little girls. They love enjoying the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
Jana Hannaway grew up in Loma Linda and has been a hygienist for over six years. She loves helping patients understand proper at-home care and how to keep their smile for life. She also likes helping people overcome their fear of the dentist by being patient and gentle with them. Jana and her husband have two adorable little boys. They also have two dogs (an American bulldog and a boxer) and a cat, making for a very full house.

Were a full-service dental office, including preventive, restorative, and cosmetic. That means we do everything from routine cleanings and exams to wisdom tooth removal to dentures, and everything in between.
We use digital x-rays, which emit less radiation, give us detailed images quicker and are safer for the environment. X-rays help us detect cavities, examine bones around the teeth and check for signs of periodontal disease and proper tooth development.
As part of our commitment to patient education, the intraoral camera is a huge asset. The camera takes detailed pictures of your teeth and can also be used with a live monitor to give you a tour of your mouth. This lets us point out exactly what were seeing when giving recommendations for your oral health.
With a soft tissue laser, we dont need scalpels or sutures when treating the gums. Soft tissue lasers are minimally invasive and stimulate the regrowth of soft tissue cells, leading to a faster healing process.

From the front desk, too everyone I encounter at Cajon Dental I'm impressed. Efficiency, kindness, interest in me and how my life is going makes me feel welcome. Office is immaculately clean, and they explain what they are doing and what to expect. And Dr. Sabate, I can't say enough about what a wonderful person he is. It reflects in his work, how his office is run, and he is fun. Bottom line, I look forward to my appointments. They are a Great group! If you're looking for a great dental experience, you can't go wrong with Cajon Dental. My entire family has been coming here for several years (and some of those family member's used to hate going to the dentist until we started going here). Everyone is super nice and they will take care of your dental needs with no pressure and no fuss. Dr. Sabate is very easy to talk to and will answer any concerns or questions you may have. I also appreciate how they are always up on the latest technologies for the best dental care.

I returned to Cajon Dental after living out of the area for a few years. Going in for an exam and cleaning felt like coming home. The staff and Dr Sabate are so nice and they made me feel like family.

I can't say enough about all of the wonderful staff at Cajon Dental! After years of neglecting my teeth, I nervously came to their office and it was the best decision and experience. Dr. Sabate worked with my anxiety and nerves, with a slow approach in addressing my needs. I've been there several times in the past year, each visit has been pleasant and comfortable. Visits have also been very safe throughout Covid spikes which was the main reason I chose this dental office in the first place. I would truly recommend Cajon Dental to anyone who may be hesitant, looking for a place to feel comfortable. I didn't feel judged, although I am always self conscious of my smile. I also never felt as though I was being talked into something which is a HUGE bonus!
