Dr. Cahoon began his career as a United States Marine. He proudly served at Marine Barracks 8th and I in Washington D.C. and with 3rd Battalion 7th Marines in Twentynine Palms, CA. Upon completion of his service, he joined his wife at the University of Florida where he received his Bachelor of Science degree and then his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Florida's College of Dentistry.
Dr. Cahoon is focused on continuing education and cutting-edge dentistry, with an emphasis on same-day crowns and cosmetic and implant dentistry. Dr. Cahoon strongly believes in delivering the highest quality dental care to his patients, in the most comfortable setting possible.
Dr. Cahoon resides in Stafford with his wife and four children. Recreationally, he enjoys running, mountain biking, and watching his children play soccer. He is an avid UF Gator fan and eagerly awaits every fall football season.

Recently moved back to the area and needed a dentist to check out some pain I was having. Never been very good with dentists (not an anti-dentite or anything) but it always causes anxiety. So glad I found Cahoon Family Dental. They whole staff was kind and eased my anxiety. Even though it had been quite a while since being at a dentist - there was no shaming. When I went back for fillings, I appreciated that Dr Cahoon was knowledgeable in keeping my pain at a minimum while being straight forward with what was going on. I plan on sending my husband to Cahoon as well as recommending him to my family.

Since we moved to Stafford, VA never changed the dental clinic but have been visited Cahoon Family Dental for years. Found the clinic based on the Google reviews which appeared to be so accurate. Incredibly professional staff and doctor! Highly recommend.

We've been seeing doctor Cahoon for about 10 years. Can't say enough good things! He always listens and addresses any questions or concerns we have and the office staff are always friendly and professional. Rhonda does an amazing job cleaning!

They are very friendly. Rhonda dies an amazing job at cleaning your teeth. I have never had my teeth cleaned so well at previous dentist offices. I will never go anywhere else. Dr. Cahoon is very nice and isn't out to make a buck. Very honest!

I have been coming to Dr. Cahoon's practice for over a decade, I think that says a lot in itself. I love Rhonda the hygienist, who does an amazing job taking care of my cleanings. I really appreciated Dr. Cahoon addressing some of my dental concerns, he really listened to what I was saying and put my mind at ease. If looking for a new Dental home, I highly recommend this location.

Convenient and friendly. Dentist is a pretty cool guy - has that dry humor. They know their stuff and aren't too rough. Dr. Cahoon has rectified shotty dental work from past dentists, too. All around great place.

Yesterday was my first visit. Everyone was friendly, informative and extremely competent. My cleaning and exam were top notch. I have some known issues that will require crowns at some point. I was wondering if I would be pressured to immediately do all of the expensive work. But after Dr. Cahoon finished his evaluation, he noted the issues I was aware of and that we would watch and address them when it was needed. I have a new dentist and my wife will be moving over at her next appointment. Thanks everyone!
