Born in Oroville, California, Frank Caffaratti moved to Reno as a young man. His father was one of the first physicians in Fallon, Nevada. After graduation from Sparks High School in 1973, Frank Caffaratti attended the University of Nevada Reno where he received his bachelors degree in medical science and biology. He subsequently attended the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California, where he received in DDS in 1981. That same year, he returned to Sparks to start his private practice.
Even though his college days are behind him, Dr. Caffaratti continues to study the latest changes and advances in dentistry. He has attended some of the most prominent dental institutions in the country, studying a wide spectrum of cosmetic and restorative specialties. Dr. Caffaratti is a graduate of the prestigious Misch Institute, where he earned his Mastership Degree in Dental Implantology. Dr. Caffaratti is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Nevada Dental Association, the Northern Nevada Dental Association, the International Congress of Implantology, the World Laser Clinical Institute and the Academy of General Dentistry. He also belongs to a variety of study clubs.
Outside of the office, Dr. Caffaratti enjoys spending time with hisfamily, and his hunting dogs, Anne and JoJo, chasing the elusive chukar that Nevada has to offer. He also likes hunting, fishing, trapshooting, and riding motorcycles. Dr. Caffaratti also enjoys smalltime ranching with his livestock and hay production.
Dr. Doucette is a Nevada native that was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. Further pursuing his education in 1991, Dr. Doucette ventured north to Reno where he attended the University of Nevada, Reno and received his bachelors degree of science in 1995. He then attended Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1999. Due to his love for the mountains and the great outdoors, Dr. Doucette returned to Reno shortly after to begin his career in dentistry.
After his first few years in practice and countless hours of continuing education, Dr. Doucette developed a passion for cosmetic dentistry and began to focus on smile revitalization through the use of technologically advanced surgical/restorative cosmetic dental procedures. In 2009 after surgically placing dental implants for nearly ten years, Dr. Doucette successfully expanded his focus to the planning and placement of fixed-full-arch-implant-supported-prosthetics via CT-Guided technology when multiple implants were indicated to restore a smile. Furthermore, as a result of Dr. Doucettes extensive training and background in comprehensive dentistry over the last eighteen years, coupled with his concern for every individuals overall health, Dr. Doucette has become acutely aware of the vital role that efficient sleep plays in the optimal health and healing of his patients. Therefore in recent years, Dr. Doucette has become very passionate about heavily screening and treating all of his patients for sleep breathing disorders such as snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. Dr. Doucette continues to pursue excellence while remaining on the cutting-edge of dental and sleep health technology.

Dr. Caffaratti is the best dentist . He just capped my last original tooth this November . It's been a long relation ship. He started after my front teeth got cracked off . I have been SOOOO happy with Frank and his staff that my wife and I have used him since we moved to Sparks in 1987. Love the staff and the environment. Very professional and caring with a great "chairside manner" for those that don't like the trip to the dentist.

I went into Caffaratti Dental Group with high expectations, and I was not disappointed! I was looking for a new dentist and I was so lucky to find a great dentist office. Everyone took the time to explain what they were doing, and they treated me with kindness. Their examination was very thorough. They took x-ray after x-ray and a scan of my upper jaw and lower jaw and every tooth. For all of their efforts and kindness this visit was very affordable.
