After earning his bachelors degree from Arizona State University in 2002, Dr. Chad Caffall received his doctorate from the University of the Pacific in 2005. He has taken many advanced courses at the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education & the Levin Institute & completed a Nobel BiocareTM implant residency. Dr. Caffall has also taken specialized courses in IMTEC mini implants & implant synergy at the WhiteCap Institute.
Dr. Wynn Caffall graduated from the University of Southern California & has been serving patients in Apache Junction & Mesa for many years. He loves the outdoors & has served as a Boy Scouts leader for the last 30 years. He continues to spend many hours in continuing education every year to ensure Caffall Dental Care at Southern Vista stays current & provides the quality care our patients have come to expect & enjoy. He is a mentor to new dentists as a study club leader, where several dental specialists meet to treat complex dental cases. He is also a visiting faculty member at the Spear Center for Dental Education.
I have been blessed with a wonderful life, & want to thank the wonderful patients who have trusted their dental needs to my care. I love being a dentist & especially love the impact great dental care has on patients lives. A healthy, attractive smile restores confidence, improves self-image & builds self-esteem. Healthy teeth are vital to a healthy body it has been shown that taking care of your teeth can add an average of 10 years to your life. It is not just about teeth, it is my way of improving the lives of my patients. I love this work.
Dr. Trevor Caffall is part of his familys over 30 year tradition of practicing dentistry. In addition to his father, he has multiple brothers in the dental industry. As a kid, he heard stories from his father about how dental work changed the lives of his patients & realized that dentistry isnt just a job in their family, it is their passion. Dr. Trevor Caffall is grateful for the opportunity to touch peoples lives like no other profession can & believes there is no greater calling in life.
In his time outside the office, Dr. Trevor Caffall has a history of camping & hiking with the Boy Scouts of America. He also enjoys mountain & road biking, hiking, fly fishing, wakeboarding, riding horses & ATVs, all with family & friends. He has five children that are heavily involved in art, music & gymnastics.
Dr. Trevor Caffall attended ASU & graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Exercise & Wellness in 2005. He then moved his small family to Colorado to attend Dental School at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. He is a member of the Arizona Dental Association & American Dental Association & is a part of the Faculty Club at the Spear Dental Education Center. With his father, he helps lead a dental study club in Mesa.
When Dr Codys wife was 15, she was out on the playground & got hit by a rock during some playful banter between friends. She immediately noticed that she was missing some of her front tooth. After serving swift justice to her assailant, she went home mortified & it was a dentist that saved the day. Like his brothers, Dr. Cody has been around dentistry his entire life; however, he has been motivated by examples like these that dentists are basically superheroes.
It has now been many years since choosing to go down this path & I have truly enjoyed my decision so far. I was lucky enough to attend USC dental school, the same school as my father. Although I was not intending to mirror my dad in so many ways, I am grateful to have such a wonderful mentor & friend as my father. I hope that the similarities continue well into my career as a Dentist. Even though I am taller & more handsome than Dr. Wynn, Dr. Chad & Dr. Trevor, I still look up to all of them & look forward to serving the community here in Mesa, Arizona.
Arizona has been home to Dr. Scott Phelpss family for five generations, & after several years working within a large health care system in rural north-central Wisconsin, he decided it was time to trade sub-zero winters for year-round sunshine.
He received his dental degree from A.T. Still University in Mesa. He loves learning all that he can to provide the best experience & best techniques for his patients & completes about triple the required amount of continuing education each year. Dr. Phelps enjoys the opportunity to aid patients in the journey to obtain & maintain health & overall wellness. He is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, Academy of General Dentists, Gordon Christensen International Study Club, Jamison Spencer Study Club & National Health Services Corps & is associated with Spear Education.
Dr. Phelps loves how dentistry blends his interests in engineering & medicine. Outside of the office, he enjoys running, racquetball, cycling, hiking & camping. Most of all, he loves his roles as a husband & father.
While he was in school, his wife gave birth to their two daughters, Harper & Rainey. Soon after graduating Dr. Lane returned with his family to Arizona. He considers it a privilege to serve & give back to the Mesa community that has been so good to him. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Arizona Dental Association & Academy of General Dentistry.
As a young child I was terrified of going to the dentist. However, I had a fantastic & caring dentist that never disregarded my anxiety & never made me feel embarrassed because of it. Rather, he took the time to understand my needs to gain my confidence & trust, Sanders recalls. He learned that explaining each step of every procedure made me feel more comfortable. What started as a method of calming me down eventually developed into a sincere interest in dentistry that grew until I was certain I wanted to be a dentist myself.
Sadie attended school at Phoenix College, where she earned her Expanded Function Dental Assistant License, which allows her to place composite restorations. She also holds certifications for RHS, CP & CPR.

RUN AWAY!! I needed to find a new dentist after my lifelong trusted practitioner passed away. I decided on Caffall dental based on their numerous stellar reviews and what seemed like a solid track record. When I went for my initial inspection I was told I need 3 cavities filled and a crown. After my appointment I was inspecting my teeth and found what seemed to be an obvious (but unreported) cavity on my front tooth. When I had the appointment for my crown I brought up this cavity I found and the dentist confirmed it was a cavity and they had missed it initially. Crown procedure went fine. Then my cavity filling appointment. When they drilled out the cavity I had to find myself the dentist mentioned he found ANOTHER cavity that was not originally noticed. Very disappointing. That's 2 out of 5 cavities they missed upon inspection. Once my cavities were filled they sent me home with a bill that wasn't awful. But wait. After I'd been home for a few hours and my mouth wasn't numb, I could feel a hole in one of my teeth. I called the dentist and was back in the chair and hour later. The dentist confirmed they had FORGOTTEN TO FILL ONE OF MY CAVITIES. The dentist would have immediately noticed this if he bothered to double check the work his assistant was doing. If I wasn't so diligent with my own care I would not have noticed the hole and been in serious trouble. An absolute joke for "professionals" to make this type of mistake. I was given a measly apology and "graciously" wasn't charged for my extra visit (A RESULT OF COMPLETE NEGLIGENCE) That was the last time I was there. I will agree that they had amazing customer service and the employees do a great job of making you feel comfortable. However, the gross negligence I experienced here has had me run for the hills. I will never recommend this establishment and would actually go so far as to say I recommend you go anywhere else.

This was by far the absolute most pleasant dental experience I have ever had!! First time here and drove from the west valley. The entire staff was friendly and communicative of my treatment and options. The pricing was very reasonable! I loved the charm of the building. The wonderful hygienist and Dr. Caffall worked their magic and my teeth look and feel great. Special shout out to their assistant Kristi, she did an excellent job and was so friendly; made me feel at home. Thank you all...would definitely recommend!!!

There is definitely a reason why this place is so highly rated! Really great customer service, patient education and care. You can tell they have a strong team here because every person from the front desk, to the dental assistant, hygienist, and Dr were all kind, knowledgeable, and happy to take the time to explain the process/answer any questions. To me, the best care is preventative care because I don't have an extra paycheck to spend on fillings so I really appreciated all the education and tips specific to my habits to keep my teeth healthy. Highly recommend!

Everyone at this office is so professional and sweet. My insurance had lapsed and I was calling in to cancel my appointment but Olivia said that they would give me a free cleaning until my insurance was re-instated. The headsets that the staff wear to communicate and all black uniforms worn by all the assistants and hygienists make it known they are a professional and well oiled machine. But the office is still small and even behind the masks you know they all have a friendly face. I hope I never had to change my dental office!

Fantastic service! I was able to get my impacted wisdom tooth removed without an appointment, and within two hours of calling I was on my way home. Call it luck, but I found the fact they were able to accommodate a new patient within hours of closing excellent. Great pricing plans, great staff, and super friendly. Will be going back for routine cleanings! A+ stuff!
