We understand that your little ones may be apprehensive about visiting the dentist. Thus, our facility has been meticulously designed to make your children feel at ease and to help them have a fun experience from the moment they walk through our doors. Between the bright decor and the fun activities and technology, your kids will be relaxed and having fun before they even sit in a dental chair!
Our facility has different areas and rooms to accommodate different age groups. One room is specifically tailored toward teenagers, offering them more age appropriate movie selections and heated massage chairs.
We offer multiple waiting rooms that kids won't want to leave. imaginations run wild in our indoor castle playground + slide, iPad Bar, and Eyeplay Virtual Play Area where the kids can play the giant piano, pop balloons, and take the soccer challenge + much more!
We have televisions in our waiting room, sedation room, and on the ceiling above every patient chair in our office and offer a nearly unlimited selection of kids shows to choose from. We understand the power of distraction for children of all ages.
Make your trip to the dentist a family affair with our six chair open bay hygiene station (plus three teen room chairs). You heard us right...for parents of several children, we can see ALL of your kids at once. We love big families and work efficiently to save busy parents time!
Dr. Gehring is originally from Bountiful and now lives with his wifeand five children in North Logan. He is an avid biker and an aspiring triathlete. He enjoys camping, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.
He received his undergraduate degree from Utah State University, and graduated Cum Laude from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond Virginia with his DDS degree in 2000. His pediatric specialty training was completed at the University of Florida in Gainesville, in 2002.
Through continuing education and advancements in materials and technology, Dr. Gehring strives to provide the best comprehensive care to all of his patients. 'We truly want to create an environment for our patients and a feeling in our office 'Where we 'Keep Kids Smiling.

This place is fantastic! I have a special needs son in a wheelchair and they treat him with kindness and patience. Plus Dr. Daren Gehring is a wonderful pediatric dentist. Can't say enough good about this place.

I would recommend Cache Valley Pediatric Dentistry to anyone with young children. My child was very nervous her first visit. They were very calm and helped keep her calm during her visit. Now my child asks to go to the dentist, when we pass their building. She loves going!

Cache Valley Pediatric Dentistry is the best place to bring kids to get dental work done. Both my kids and grandkids have gone and love going. Their dental assistants are so patient and kind, especially Payton Connors. Hands down, best dentist in the valley to bring kids!!!!

We love coming to Cache Valley Pediatric Dentistry! Dr Gehring and his staff are very patient, kind, friendly, and professional. My kids love watching the fish and having a place to play while we wait and they love getting their coins to use for a prize at the end!

Such a fun and professional dentist office. I always have to fight my kids to leave! They ask me countless times when we get to go back to the dentist between their 6-month check-ups. We love the staff, Payton is the sweetest and is just the best with our kids- they love her! Thank you for all you guys do!

This office is super cute!! So many fun things to get kids excited to go to the dentist! The entire staff is very friendly and welcoming. The dentist was really patient and great with my 2 year old. He helped my daughter feel calm and comfortable to get her teeth checked. Definitely going back for a check up!

We used to see Dr. Gehring until about a year and a half ago. I wanted to put some time between our last visit and this review so that I didn't respond emotionally. First of all, I would like to mention that the staff at Dr. Gehring's office were all super kind, friendly, and helpful. We had a wonderful experience with them. Our issue, unfortunately, was with Dr. Gehring. I am sure he is a nice person outside of his office and I want to give him the benefit of the doubt, but I am truly baffled why he chose to go into pediatric dentistry. He does not seem to know how to interact with children at all. He was extremely rude to my then-three-year-old son who was nervous getting a cavity filled. Just one example--During the procedure, my son expressed that he felt like he couldn't breathe and Dr. Gehring responded in a raised voice, "It's hard to breathe when you are crying like that!" Prior to this appointment, during my son's cleaning and x-rays, he lectured me in a very demeaning manner about how I was caring for my son's teeth. Both my son and I have left his office in tears. In fact, this turned out to be a completely traumatizing experience for my son. Like I said, I'm sure Dr. Gehring is a great person, I just don't think he is a good fit for this particular profession--or at least for kids who demonstrate any degree of anxiety getting dental work done. If anyone is looking for a phenomenal pediatric dentist who works so well with kids, I'd suggest Dr. Kurt Vest at Wasatch Pediatric Dentistry. We have been seeing him this past year, and he has been exceptional!

I absolutely had a wonderful experience. When my 3 year old fell and knocked his tooth almost out they got me in right a way. They were so wonderful about the whole experience and made my 3 year old feel brave and strong throughout. After my experience i am no longer going to my old pediatric dentist and using only them. Thank you so much!

We have been visiting Dr. Gehring's office for check ups and procedures for the last twelve. I can't imagine going anywhere else for our children's dental care. They are professional, organized, and efficient. The office is always spic and span and has a very welcoming enviroment for children. Dr. Gerhing and his staff genuinely love what they do and it reflects in the level of service they have delivered since our first visit. I highly recommend them.

We've been coming to this office for 7 years and have always found their service to be very consistent. Working with children must be so difficult and it seems the entire staff is blessed with extra patience. Today my 4 year old had to have 4 cavities filled. Dr. Gehring was very attentive to my daughter and also very thorough in helping me know what to expect and making sure I was comfortable and confident with the whole procedure. I have never felt pushed for procedures that weren't necessary. My girls love the business set up and I'm impressed too. This office is well run from prize incentives to the comfortable dental chairs, movie options in the ceiling, and the variety of activities to relax the kids before or during their appointments. I seriously wish I could be a patient here as well. Or at least that adult dental offices could offer the same luxuries as this one does.

I have loved Dr. Gehring and the staff at CV Pediatric Dentistry since we started going there. This past week we were forced to go to another pediatric dentist (whom shall remain nameless) and the experience was less than stellar. I didn't realize before how good everyone at CV Pediatric Dentistry was until I had another to compare them too. I couldn't be happier with our dentist and his team. Their attention to my children goes leaps and bounds!!!!
