Dr. Henspetter is a California native that grew up in the Los Angeles area and received his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of California at San Diego. He attended the Boston University School of Dentistry, graduated magna cum laude, and was elected to the Omega Kappa Upsilon honor society in 2000. Since then, he has taken a large number of extensive continuing education courses, including courses in dental implants and root canal therapy.
Currently, Dr. Henspetter is a resident of San Francisco with his wife and two young children.Dr. Henspetter speaks fluent Spanish, as do many of our office staff members, to meet the high-quality care we strive to provide our patients.
Dr. Henspetters greatest professional reward comes from delivering dental care that reaches above and beyond the expectations of any patient to ensure that they live a life complete with good oral health. He excels at performing dentistry with a high level of quality and a gentle touch to ensure that patients are comfortable when undergoing any kind of procedure.
He wants to make your dental experience as comfortable as possible. He welcomes patients to listen to headphones or watch a Netflix movie during procedures whatever makes them the most comfortable. Dr. Jen Kin was previously a dental instructor teaching fixed prosthodontics at the UOP School of Dentistry. Prosthodontics is the dental specialty relating to the diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and maintenance of patients with missing or deficient teeth and oral and maxillofacial (jaw and face) tissues.
Dr. Jen Kins expertise in dental implants has led him to receive his Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. And for a more relaxing experience for the dental phobic patient, he is also licensed to administer both IV and oral conscious sedation.
Originally from the Bay Area and a college graduate of Santa Clara University, Dr. Sarah Esmaili (pronounced Es-smiley) headed out to Philadelphia for dental school, where she earned her DMD from Temple University Maurice Kornberg School of Dentistry and received the Edward B. and Arnold R. Cook Award in Pediatric Dentistry. There she discovered her passion of working with children and pursued pediatric dental residency at Geisinger Hospital in Danville, PA, located in an underserved rural area that draws a large pediatric population from more than a two-hour radius.
Dr. Esmaili loves to help kids discover and build their self-confidence during their dental visits. Ultimately, her role as a pediatric dentist involves encouraging children to implement good oral habits through creating positive dental experiences, so they feel comfortable going to the dentist well into adulthood.
Dr. Esmaili is affiliated with the following organizations: California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and American Dental Association. In her spare time, she enjoys playing soccer, swimming, reading, and drinking hot chocolate at every opportunity.

Terrific! I am a nervous Nelly when it comes to pain and my childhood dental experience. Dr. H is kind and gentle and before I realized it, my cavity was filled, no pain, and I was on my way! I will recommend Cabrillo dental to everyone I know!

I highly recommend Dr Jen Kin. He's an excellent dentist. I had no pain for a tooth extraction and implant. The office staff and dental assistant were kind and very helpful.

I would give zero stars, the dentist himself is top notch. Now it seems that this place is in desperate need of money. I have recieved a bill for work that wasn't complete, I was told that from now on, all procedures will need to be paid up front, the accounting dept. can't keep their records straight and seems to be incompetent. She lied by telling me she text me and phoned me. I never saw a text and she never left a meassage. What a shame, they lost a loyal customer. I guess the dentist would rather be surfing than working because he clearly dosn't care if he loses a customer.

New insurance policy, they only take out of network insurance. If you have Delta Dental your bi-annual CLEANINGS are NOT COVERED as of May 2022, it'll cost you around $125 out pocket and your Out Of Network Insurance will pay about $85. They didn't tell me this until after my cleaning was complete almost like they're trying to hide it. Out of the five reminders I got to make sure I was coming to my appointment not once was I informed of this huge change. This new policy is very unfortunate because we really liked Cabrillo Dental to see Dr. Jen Kin over the past 12 years. We're looking for a new dentist now.

Just got home with my new dental implant and it's perfect. It was less expensive than I was expecting- which never seems to happen. Exact color as my natural teeth. Staff is super friendly. I live in SF and 100% worth making the drive :)

Once again they met and exceeded all my expectations!!! Had a problem happen at night so I called after hours a left a message. Received a phone call the next morning at 8:45 AM and they got in same day at 2:30 PM. Very very happy with the way they handled everything. thanks

Friendly staff ,very clean and inviting atmosphere.The cost is comparable to most dentist. The receptionists are very kind smile a lot. The gentleman that did the x-rays was extremely kind was engaging asking me questions to what brought me in there. As I was in there for a specific x-ray to bring back to my doctor they were very accommodating. And the dentist went out of his way to do an extra service for me as he was able to adjust my upper denture which I was very appreciative of at no charge. My two sons go there as well are very happy with the services. If you live in Pacifica or around the area I strongly suggest you go here you will not be disappointed. I believe they take most dental insurance but for sure take Delta dental. You can call and ask what they accept. And I might add they play very good music, very soothing.
