After graduating from Madison High School, his college years were spent at University of California, San Diego where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology followed by New York University College of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (2000).Since receiving his dental degree in 2000, he has dedicated his professional career to providing his patients with the best that dentistry has to offer. San Diego dentist Dr. Nasery achieves this by attending many hours of continuing education each year. This enables his practices to grow with evolving dental techniques and products. Best of all, Dr. Nasery builds trusted relationships with his patients through honest and open communication. Dedicated to continually improving his care for patients and staying knowledgeable about the latest technologies and developments in dentistry, Dr. Salehi is participating in many hours of continuing education each year and concentrated his time and skills in learning advanced procedures and techniques in general and cosmetic dentistry.
San Diego dentist Dr. Salehi is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the San Diego County Dental Society. Dr. Sharafi obtained his dental degree at the University of Maryland Dental School. He went on to finish his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at University of Maryland Medical Center and R. Adam Cowley Shock Trauma Center. Dr. Sharafi has trained extensively in dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, orthognathic surgery, maxillofacial trauma surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, and benign head and neck pathology and reconstructive dental implantology.
Dr. Sharafi is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, San Diego Dental Society, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and Academy of Osseointegration
Dr. Sharafi is one of a handful of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in California who holds the California Cosmetic Surgery License due to his comprehensive training in cosmetics and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Sharafi is also an evaluator for the California Dental Board for General Anesthesia Permits offered to other Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Sharafi has privileges at Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego.

I do not like getting dental work done, it's always made me uneasy. The doctor and dental assistants are incredible and help me feel comfortable while in the dental chair getting the work done. I am not very easy to deal with in a dental chair, and the doctor and several assistants will take their time to let me calm down. I've known Dr. Nasery for years and besides being a funny and super personable guy he's also an extraordinary dentist. I've hade couple of root canals and several fillings with Dr. Salehi and Dr. Torres and they're also exceptional and very professional. The staff is friendly and they're accommodating when you need to reschedule. I've already recommended Cabrillo Dental to family and friends and don't plan to go anywhere else.
