Dr. Hawa is a caring and experienced professional who has been practicing since 1998. She was born in India and moved to the USA in 1995. She graduated with honors from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine where she received her DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) in 1998. She received the Robert Zug-Smith award for excellence in academic achievement. She has also received her MDS (Master of Dental Medicine) in Oral Medicine and Radiology from the University of Bombay. Dr. Hawa has over 20 years of experience in the traditional office setting and she has also worked in nursing homes and a hospital treating medically compromised patients. She now resides in Champaign, Illinois with three sons, a beautiful daughter, and her husband, who is a Neonatologist at the CarleFoundation Hospital. Fine arts is her hobby, she is a perfectionist and it reflects in her dentistry as well!
While volunteering at the Community Clinic, in Topeka, Kansas, a not-for-profit organization offering dental care to under represented individuals, she realized that there is a tremendous need of dental servicesforpeople with no access to dental care. Children, the elderly, infirm, orinstitutionalized groups are the patients Dr. Hawa is most passionate to help. Instead of a traditional office environment which can be intimidating and make people uncomfortable, Dr. Hawa has opted to invite her patients into her home office for the experience of having your own personal dentist. Providing access to care is the motto of C U Smile and Dr. Hawa is committed to improving the dental health of all of her patients and making care more accessible and affordable.

Excellent service, very convenient, me and my family have been getting dental services here for years, happy to have our dental care here. Dr Hawa is a great dentist!

I found Dr Hawa for my son, when I wanted him to have a cleaning without the usual, protracted and needlessly expensive song and dance I was being given by every other dental clinic I called. She was immediately accommodating. But then he liked her so much, he absolutely wanted to use her from then on is his regular dentist. Then my husband needed to see a dentist and I thought, why not? I'll send him over to Dr Hawa! My husband hates going to the dentist, he dreads it. Not Dr Hawa! He came home singing her praises so loudly that I just had to drop my established dentist, and have her take me on as a client as well. So now the whole family counts on Dr Hawa for her skill, her bedside manner, and the comfort of knowing that someone is being authentic and genuine with you.

Dr.Hawa has been a godsend for both me and my young daughter. I was told my daughter would need to be put under anesthesia to have two root canals done due to her anxiety following two bad dental experiences. Dr.Hawa took her time explaining everything to her before doing it, let her have a mirror to see what she was doing, and talked her through the entire experience, which in turn saved me thousands and changed my daughters whole outlook about going to the dentist. Dr.Hawa also helped me with a poor fitting partial that was ruining my remaining teeth. She is not in this for the money, she truly cares about her patients and wants to help them. She gained two lifelong patients with me and my daughter and I will be taking my older daughter for a check up as well. If you have a child/ren with anxiety, go see Dr.Hawa, you won't be disappointed. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted. She also does amazing, natural looking full dentures. Check her out,you won't be disappointed.

I've never encountered another dentist like Dr. Hawa! She provides an incomparable one-on-one patient/dentist experience and is incredibly thorough and transparent, and gentle with her patients. I won't be going anywhere else for dental work!

Dr. Hawa is a wonderful dentist. For the first time, I did not need to take Ativan to have dentistry work done. She is very professional, gentle, kind and explains what she is about to do. She also keeps me fully informed about what options I have and their cost. I actually enjoy going to her office and no longer have white knuckles from clutching the chair! If you are looking for a new dentist, I would highly recommend Dr. Hawa and C U Smiles.

This is by far the best Dentist I have been to. I've had two root canals done. I was a little scared at first never had one before. But everything was smooth sailing. No pain during the procedure or after. After both procedures I never needed any pain meds. I highly recommend Dr. Hawa to keep your smile bright

Dr. Hawa was beyond generous upon arrival she was very sweet and gentle with my 3 year old daughter as she talked her through every step of the process from beginning to end I can tell she takes her practice very seriously and is very attentive and dedicated to all her patients all in all the experience was wonderful and I can't wait for my daughter to return
