I am a native Tulsan having graduated from Edison High School. I completed my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oklahoma. Upon graduation, I matriculated at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1981. In 2015, I completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry.
I was selected Alumnus of the Year for the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 2011. I have also been elected to membership in the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. I have also received numerous awards from the Oklahoma Dental Association including the Oklahoma Dentist of the Year in 2011.
While attending the college of dentistry, I met my wife Donna. Together we have three sons: Riegy, Trent and Nicholas. Riegy is an Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon in the Kansas City Metropolitan area. Trent resides in Indianapolis and works in residential real estate. Nicholas works in Tulsa for ONEOK. We all enjoy the lake activities in the Summer. Donna teaches full-time at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry and serves as Senior Clinic Coordinator for the Department of Dental Hygiene. I work part-time at the College of Dentistry in the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry and serve as a Group Practice Director, while maintaining my private practice in Tulsa. I also have served on the Admissions Committee for the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. It is our goal and desire to work with young developing clinicians to help them create sound clinical and ethical foundational skills; ultimately leading to the perpetuation of our professions in the years that lie ahead for future generations.
Since 1981 I have maintained a private practice with the ultimate goal of not just achieving the absence of dental disease for my patients, but rather creating an optimal state of oral health and function. Dr. Weilacher grew up in Sapulpa, Oklahoma before moving to Norman to attend the University of Oklahoma. After completing a degree in Civil Engineering, Dr. Weilacher decided to pursue a career in Dentistry and was soon accepted into the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. After graduating with honors from dental school, Dr. Weilacher found himself moving back to the Tulsa area to be closer to friends and family.
Dr. Weilacher enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and two fur children. He loves to travel and is especially drawn to the great outdoors. If you want to get him talking just mention southwest Colorado. He is also an avid sports fan, especially the Oklahoma Sooners.

Dr. Weilacher was extremely thorough and answered all of my questions. I highly recommend him to you as your dentist!! I have been going to Dr Weilacher for several years. He is an excellent dentist. Dr Weilacher is very good at listening to your symptoms and takes the extra time to ferret out what is going on to solve your dental problems. I highly recommend Dr Weilacher for his expertise! Dr Weilacher and his Staff continue to excell in Dentistry! I saw Dr Weilacher yesterday. He and his Staff continue continue to deliver excellent Dental Care.

Love the music that is playing. The staff is great! Debbie at the front desk is always pleasant. A very friendly atmosphere. I would recommend any of the Dentist that Dr. Woods has working in the office. 2 thumbs up!!

Update: As previously mentioned, I've been Dr. Wood's patient since the early 90s. He and his team have always been amazing. Monday, 11/1/21, was no different. Thanks guys for all you've done throughout the years. You're absolutely the BEST!!! I have been Dr. Wood's patient for at least 25 years. From my first appointment in the early 1990s to the last, 2/22/18, Dr. Wood and his staff have been excellent. Not only have they been extremely professional, they've been very friendly. Each time I go there I feel welcome and as if I am visiting family. I would definitely recommend each and everyone in this office. Thanks everyone. You guys are amazing!
