C-K Family Dental has been a part of the Auburn community as a dental practice since October 9, 1990, when Dr. Theresa Casper-Klock first began her career in dentistry. It had been her dream to be a dentist since she was 8 years old, and she was privileged to take over for a retiring dentist right out of dental school. Dr. Casper-Klock was the first solo female practitioner in the area and she and her team expertly provide skilled, comprehensive dentistry in Auburn, New York, to help patients meet their dental needs and achieve their overall oral health goals. Dr. Casper-Klock and her team care for patients of all ages, beginning when a child gets their first tooth. She and her team are invested in developing relationships with their patients and are eager to learn about you and your dental needs.

Our goal at C-K Family Dental is to provide the best possible dental care for each patient in a caring and friendly atmosphere. Their needs and concerns are of the highest priority and will be managed in the most compassionate manner possible.

Dr. Theresa Casper-Klock was born and raised in the Auburn area. Since she was 8 years old, Dr. Casper-Klock has always wanted to be a dentist, and having now practiced for over 30 years, she has no regrets in her decision. Dr. Casper-Klock graduated from Cayuga Community College with honors and from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. In 1990, she graduated from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and immediately returned to Auburn to practice general dentistry, which to her is more accurately called Family Dentistry. She enjoys getting to the office every day and helping her patients look and feel their best! She recommends treatment to her patients based on a simple principle: would she recommend the treatment to her mother, brother or sister?

Being a dedicated professional, Dr. Casper-Klock has earned over 850 hours in continuing education classes. She is an active member in the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, Seventh District Dental Society and Cayuga County Dental Society. Dr. Casper-Klock maintains Fellowships in the American College of Dentists, Pierre Fauchard Academy and the International Dental Implant Association.

For the past several years, Dr. Casper-Klock has participated with other members of the American Dental Association and American Student Dental Association with their Lobby Day in Washington, DC. She is a director on the board of Empire Dental Administrators, and she was recently elected by her peers to Trustee, to represent the Seventh District Dental Society on the New York State Dental Societys board.

Dr. Casper-Klock enjoys giving back to the community by volunteering her time and talent. She has participated in several Missions of Mercy across New York state and in the Dominican Republic. Each November, Dr. Casper-Klock and her team honor veterans by hosting a Veterans Appreciation Day, where they provide free dental services to our local veterans.

Outside of dentistry, she and her husband, Vincent, enjoy traveling and keeping busy with their four adult children and grandson. When time allows, Theresa is also active in church activities, cooking, and square dancing.

Courtney joined our practice in 2018. She graduated in 2012 from Monroe Community College with an associate degree in dental hygiene, and she has been proudly practicing ever since. She loves working in the community where she grew up, and she truly loves her career, her patients and her coworkers.

Courtney is passionate about the oral and overall health of her patients. She enjoys bringing people from a state of dental disease to a state of good dental health, and then assisting them in maintaining it. She makes her patients feel relaxed and comfortable, and she likes giving them a little education in all aspects of their dental hygiene.

Courtney has lived in the Auburn area her whole life and resides here with her husband, children and their dog. Courtney enjoys spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, and watching and playing a variety of sports.

Cristi joined our office in June 2021. She graduated from her dental assisting program in 2015, and then passed three required examinations to obtain her license. Prior to working with Dr. Casper-Klock she worked with Dr. Karpinski until his retirement in 2020.

Cristi enjoys the family atmosphere that C-K Family Dental has and the variety of treatments we offer to patients. Patient comfort is her top priority, and she uses the knowledge she gained at the oral surgeons office to help accomplish it.

Having family members in the dental field is what sparked her interest in pursuing work in dentistry. When Cristi is out of the office, she likes to run, hike, garden, and spend time with family and friends.

Doreen was happy to join us in April 2018, bringing almost 40 years of assisting experience. She attended the BOCES dental assistant two-year course in her junior and senior years before graduating from Southern Cayuga High School. She likes being a part of a team that cares about people, with a doctor who gives out good information and enjoys her job! Doreen makes sure supplies are ordered and keeps them organized and stocked. She cares about our patients and makes sure they feel relaxed and understand what is being done. Doreen loves the great work atmosphere at C-K Family Dental. Everyone has fun together, which is enjoyable and makes the day go quickly.

She and her husband of over 36 years live in Auburn. They have three grown children, two grandchildren, two Shepherd puppies and three granddogs. Doreen is a do-it-yourself person. She loves home projects and being in her flower beds through the summer. She hopes to get back into skiing in the winter.

Adina joined our practice in 2017 with a strong professional history in dental administration, customer service and wellness. She enjoys building relationships with our patients and helping them manage their dental care.

When not in the office, you can find Adina, her husband, their two daughters and Bernese Mountain dog outside, enjoying the many activities central New York has to offer. Adina also enjoys teaching yoga and spending time with family and friends on the lake.

Vince started with C-K Family Dental in March 1996! He graduated from St. John Fisher College with a Bachelor of Science in computer science. He likes being able to help a great group of people make others smile. His duties include taking care of and running our small business so everyone else can focus on the patients and dentistry. He is also responsible for all the IT in the practice, maintaining all the hardware and software and being the in-house help desk.

Vince and Theresa have been blessed with four wonderful children, two fantastic daughters-in law, a delightful grandson and a dog. He enjoys music, sports, family, and travel not necessarily in that order.
