Dr. Heidi Torgerson is a University of Wisconsin - River Falls alum and a graduate of the University of Minnesota Dental School. After graduation Heidi advanced her training with a general practice residency in Burlington, Vermont. Heidi joined Byron Dental Group in 2009 and enjoys providing a variety of services for her patients, both children and adults.
Away from the practice, Heidi enjoys horseback riding, orienteering, baking, and spending time with her family. She and her husband Pete have three children Cooper,Cassidy, and Alex who keep them very busy! Heidi also volunteers at the Good Samaritan and is a member of the ZVDS, MDA, and ADA.
Dr. Kyle Smith completed both his undergraduate education and his dental degree at the University of Minnesota. He has been practicing dentistry in Minnesota since 2014. He has advanced training in dental implant surgery and is a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantology. He is also a member of the Minnesota Dental Association and American Dental Association. He joined Byron Dental Group in 2021. Dr. Kyle believes in helping patients find comfortable and predictable solutions for their dental needs.
Outside of work, Alicia loves to spend time with her family and friends. She is also a runner and has a love for theoutdoors. In addition, she enjoys surrounding herself with music, books, movies, and art.
Joined our team in 2013 and brings over 20 years of experience in the dental field. She is always ready to help our patients maximize their dental benefits and to explain our convenient payment options. Lori is available to help our staff with whatever they need. I can actually say that I have been going to Byron Dental my whole life. With Dr. Zimmerman when I was a kid to Dr. Torgerson as an adult. Very happy with all the staff then and now!

They are always very pleasant and helpful at the front desk. The hygienists I've had have been so friendly, gentle and make for a good experience. Dr. Heidi is a great dentist and advises and explains things well. I highly recommend Byron Dental.

After not being to the dentist for years (I know not a smart move). I finally scheduled an appointment with Dr. Smith. I was nervous due to how long it had been since being to the dentist. Good thing I had Courtney and Dr. Smith. Courtney was professional and has the hands of a surgeon. 10/10 Thank you Dr. Smith, Courtney and the entire Byron Dental staff.

I recently switched to Byron Dental Group and have been very happy with my experience! The team is efficient and comforting. Dr. Smith is very clear and thorough in his communication regarding my dental care; I would highly recommend him to my family and friends. It is nice to have a trustworthy dental clinic in town!

Extremely disappointed in the "confrontation policy". Had scheduled a cleaning a months in advance but it was canceled today because I didn't respond to their calls by noon. Despite the fact that I work at a job that doesn't allow me to have my phone on me. I called them back as soon as I got off work and had to deal with an extremely rude receptionist that wasn't willing to accommodate my situation. She said I would have to schedule another cleaning, and the soonest I could get in would be September. I have been a customer for 15 years but plan on not coming back after today.

Went to get a crown on my front tooth and had a great experience. Dr. Smith did a great job going over all my possible options and in the end I was very satisfied with his ability to match the crown to my existing teeth. 10/10 and will go back for any future dental needs.

Everyone at Byron Dental Group were humans, not fake happy sales people, and they treated me like a human. They treated me with respect and spent way more time with me than a typical appointment time so they could answer all my questions. They did it without making me feel rushed. Dr Kyle explained things to me like he was an expert, but didn't act like he was superior. I've already scheduled my next visit.

I have never enjoyed the dentist so much! Dr. kyle and mary-ann are AMAZING. My anxiety about going to the dentist disappeared! They made getting a filling enjoyable. Honestly, hoping for some more cavities because thats how much I enjoyed it! CHOOSE BYRON DENTAL! 20/10 recommend!
