Dr. Ryan Keener graduated from Michigan State University with a B.S. in Kinesiology. During his time at MSU, Dr. Keener excelled as a student-athlete for the Michigan State Men's Soccer program, where he was voted team captain and selected to the Capital One Academic All-America First-Team during his senior season. He went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry where he held multiple leadership positions. Upon graduation, Dr. Keener was recognized by his faculty and peers for his commitment to the profession through the Award for Student Excellence in Predoctoral Education.
Following dental school, Dr. Keener expanded his clinical skills while serving our Veterans by completing one of the top Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency programs in the country at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System in San Antonio, Texas. During the program he received advanced training in the surgical placement of dental implants, IV sedation, cosmetic dentistry, root canals, full-mouth rehabilitations, Invisalign and management of medically compromised patients.
Dr. Keener understands that each patient's oral health journey is unique, and places tremendous value in cultivating relationships with his patient's. It is through these relationships that he believes he is able to best understand his patients' individual goals and deliver their dental care in the most comfortable and long lasting way possible.
Dr. Keener and his wife, Andrea, are excited to call Grand Rapids their new home. They both enjoy spending time with their families, cooking, traveling, taking trips to Lake Michigan and playing frisbee with their rescue pup, Mia.

I always receive excellent care from Becky, who cleans my teeth. She is not aggressive or rough which is how I prefer. Dr. Keener is very friendly, thorough and not aggressive either. The team at BCFD has been great. This is now my wife and I 2nd cleaning there. Would definitely recommend to others in need of a dentist or dental office.

I had purchased two sets of dentures and overpaid by over $500.00. There is no dispute over this but for some reason they won't refund my money. I have been asking for it for four months now and I just keep getting the run around. Would like to add that the dentures look really nice but the fit isn't very good.

I had such a great experience! Staff was super nice and inclusive. They have such a detailed process to make sure you get the best service you are looking for. I usually have the worst anxiety going to the doctors and dread it. I am looking forward to my next appointments. I would def recommend to anybody looking for a great dentist office!

UPDATE - The fraudulent report has been deleted from my credit report via an investigation from TransUnion; I would upload a photo but that would make the review not show up publicly. Again, do not give these people your SSN or really any personal information they could send to a debt collector. ___ Reported a false collection to my perfect credit report. Do not give these people your SSN, as their documentation/office has no clue what they are doing. I called and told them I was extremely disappointed that they would send an account that wasn't mine to collections, they said it was from January 2022: I hadn't been there since 2019. Google confirms this and of course I know this.

I have been a customer here for many years now. The entire staff is very friendly and puts you at ease. They are professional and easy to work with. I actually enjoy coming back to the dentist every 6 months for regular cleanings and good conversation.

I am always treated with kindness and respect. They go out of their way to make sure I am comfortable. When we moved I didn't switch to a closer dentist because I hate going to the dentist and I know they understand and respect my feelings. They treat me great!
