Originally from Long Island, New York, Dr. Susan Byrne graduated from Florida State University with a bachelors degree in science. She then attended The University of Florida College of Dentistry where she graduated in 1999 with high honors. She has had her practice here in Tallahassee for the past 17 years. Her and her husband Richard have been married for 20 years and have 3 beautiful children. She is a Past President of Northwest District Dental Association, and a Past President of Leon County Dental Association. Every year she volunteers in Florida at the Mission Of Mercy event and is part of the We Care Dental Network in Tallahassee.

Dr. Byrnes is hands down the BEST dentist I've EVER met! I have major dentophobia and she is the ONLY dentist that has ever made me feel so comfortable in a dentist office! She cares for her patients like no other!

If I could give her and her office 100 stars I would. I have a huge FEAR of going to the dentist. I usually do not go unless I have too. I love Dr. Byrne, she makes it not so scary, she is friendly, she is caring, she understands, she is not expensive and not out for just the money. She takes her time with her patients and she cares. If she can't fix it she will let you know and then follows that with options and a way to get it fixed. Every time I go in she asks how my mom, dad, sister and brother are doing since we are all her patients. Literally feels like visiting with a friend.

We have been dentist hopping for years. I was starting to think that it was us - maybe we're just difficult. :-) But we have finally landed in a place that is professional, kind, reasonable and doesn't try to push unnecessary procedures on us. Dr. Byrne is fantastic and her hygienists are the best we've ever experienced. As another reviewer said, if you need a dentist in Tallahassee, look no further. You won't be disappointed!

Had been a patient for many years and had to reschedule a few appointments due to Covid and other issues due to being a caregiver. Had just made an appointment and then received a letter stating that I was cancelled as a patient. I called and they said I was no longer a patient because I hadn't been seen this year and not to bother coming in for my appointment. Very unprofessional way to handle things during this time.

Dr. Byrne is the absolute BEST! Somehow she got rid of my bad anxiety I had about going to the dentist. She is very engaging with keep you distracted. No pain at all!
