Joseph T. Buzzanco, D.M.D. is a general dentist practicing in Red Bank, New Jersey. He was born and raised in the Red Bank area, attending St. Mary's and Mater Dei Prep before going on to study at Farleigh Dickinson University in northern New Jersey where he graduated Magna Cum Laude as President of the Honors College. He then went on to receive a Doctorate in Medical Dentistry from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
After receiving his professional degree, Dr. Buzzanco participated in a residency program at the Veterans Hospital in Lyons, New Jersey and then completed a second residency program in Facial Orthopedics and Orthodontics in Pennsylvania. Dr. Buzzanco continues to stay up to date on the latest advances in dentistry by attending a yearly continuing education program at the Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Since 1989, Dr. Buzzanco has owned and operated his practice in Red Bank, providing a broad range of dental services to the community he grew up in, some of which have been published and featured on a FOX TV segment on cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Buzzanco continues to be involved with the community outside his office. He has served as a Board member of the Red Bank Community YMCA and the Board of Governors at Mater Dei Prep. He was recently honored by Mater Dei Prep and entered into their prestigious Hall of Fame for his extraordinary service to the school and for serving as President of the Seraph Fund. He continues to provide dental education outreach programs visiting local pre-schools since 2000. Dr. Buzzanco was recently named one of Monmouth County's Top Dentists by Monmouth Medical Centers Monmouth Health & Life magazine and New Jersey Monthly Magazines Top Dentists.

I have been going to Dr Buzzanco since he began practicing. I can't imagine going to anyone else. The entire staff is exceptional. Truly a fine dentist and person.

A big shout out for Dr. Buzzanco for taking covid-19 precautions seriously! I went there last week for routine care and was very reassured by all that he has put in place, above and beyond CDC guidelines. Right from the moment you arrive, you will see excellent safety protocols in place: you wait in the car for your appointment, hand sanitizer everywhere, plexiglass shields in front of the staff desk, etc. There is a hepa filter in every exam room and he had ultraviolet lights installed in the duct work to make sure that the air from the HVAC system is as safe as possible in an indoor setting. (I wish other health care providers would do this!!!!!) And of course he and his staff wear N95 masks, face shields, gloves, and gowns and they have a rigorous protocol for cleaning each exam room between patients. He has also eliminated or modified any routine practices that cause spraying and you are asked to swish your mouth out with a hydrogen peroxide solution before the dental work begins. He has also turned one of the rooms in his office into a decontamination room for PPE, using ozone and UV light. He and all of his staff were wearing their PPE appropriately, which is not something I can say for some doctors' offices I've had to go to lately. And it goes without saying that you get first rate care from Dr. Buzzanco and his crew!
