Gaining a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry is one of the few added distinctions a general dentist can achieve. The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) is the only professional association serving the general dentist.
To earn Fellowship in the AGD, the dentist must take more than 500 hours of educational courses in various disciplines and pass a rigorous exam. Dr. Butler is one of the only 7 percent of general dentists to have achieved this honor.
