Dr. Daniel Butler was born and raised in Madison. After graduating from Shawe Memorial High School in 2004, he received a Bachelors Degree in Biology from Indiana University-Bloomington. He then completed his Masters Degree in Biology from IUPUI. Prior to entering dental school, he returned to Madison to work as a surgical assistant to his father, Dr. David Butler, who has been an oral surgeon in Madison since 1985. He graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2014 with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine. He then completed a one-year residency in hospital dentistry in Kansas City where he learned advanced techniques in all areas of general dentistry.
Dr. Butler is back living in Madison with his wife, Jessica, two daughters, Frances and Audrey, and their dog, Puck. Dr. Butler is dedicated to making the dental experience as comfortable as possible for every patient.

This was my first visit with Dr. Butler's office. As soon as I walked in I was greeted so kindly. Dr. Butler's staff is amazing as is he! He was straight forward with me and got me ready for my next appointment. Highly recommend him for sure!

My dentist in Vevay had to retire due to health reasons. Had been with Robert Findley since early 1980's. He's greatly missed by many including me but had a wonderful first visit yesterday with David Butler & his caring staff. They came recommended very highly and after the visit yesterday I'm beginning to see why . Believe my teeth have found a new home

Arrived early and was immediately greeted by the staff. Got called back for cleaning , the hygienist was polite and got right to work . She got my teeth cleaned and polished total professional. The dentist came in did his exam and answered any questions I had wouldn't go anywhere else!

This was my second visit for a cleaning with Dr. Butler. Everything was great. Although, I didn't have Brooke cleaning my teeth this time, Lynn did a great job as well. Dr. Butler was thorough and always personable. Everyone is always friendly and professional!
