Ben has served as a Consultant for the Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners since 2001. Ben became a Dental Examiner for the Western Regional Dental Board in 2010 and travels throughout the country helping administer competency tests to dentists and dental hygienists seeking dental licensure.Ben and his wife, Kelli, met at the University of Arizona in 1986 and have two sons, Colin and Cameron. Colin graduated from the University of Arizona and served in the U.S. Navy. Colin'swife, Victoria, is currently in dental hygiene school.Cameron graduated from Northern Arizona University and now attends the University of Southern CaliforniaSchool of Dentistry.
Nelsonwas an Arizona native, born and raised in Glendale, AZ. Hegraduated from Glendale High School in 1959, attended the University of Arizonaand earned his D.D.S. from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in 1966.
Nelson married his high school sweetheart, Judy Crouch, in 1962 and they were happily married for 53years, until Judy passed away in 2015.They raised their two sons, Ben and Brad, in Peoria, AZ. Ben andNelson shared their dental practice for 25 years; Brad is an emergency departmentphysician.

Dr. Butler is a fantastic dentist. He recently did some crowns for my daughter and his work is superb. He is good with both adults and children. My family and I have also seen the other dentist there, Dr. Trimble, for years. I have fillings from him that have last decades; his work is excellent. Highly recommend this office!

Always the best dental care given in a caring and thoughtful manner. Dr Ben and his beloved late dad are the best dentists and human beings possible. Staff is friendly, helpful and efficient and most have been there since my fist visit in 1998. No matter how far away we move this will always be our family's dentist.

I dislike having dental work done and usually find myself wrapped around my dentist's leg without nitrous. Dr. Butler helped me with an issue without nitrous and did a great job. I highly recommend him for routine and more complex dentistry. He's really good. And I'm really picky.

Been using this father and son dental team for years. Very nice people, and very good technically with their work. Unfortunately, the father,Nelson, passed away this past year. The son, Ben,is still going strong.They try to get you the best prices they can.

Been using this father and son dental team for years. Very nice people, and very good technically with their work. Unfortunately, the father,Nelson, passed away this past year. The son, Ben,is still going strong.They try to get you the best prices they can.

Amazing staff. Seriously the best customer service, compassionate and friendly. Dr Butler went above and beyond and made sure the procedure went perfect. Very affordable out of pocket cost as well and will return for all future work. Thank you.

Called there last week and spoke with a guy that was SUPER helpful. Called there today and spoke with a guy that was SUPER unhelpful. If it were for the last guy only, I would give 1 star, but the first guy was super nice. The front staff can make all the difference in making a decision on where one goes, and this last one sealed the deal for me. Too bad because based on last week's call, it was definitely one of my first options.

I was referred to Dr. Butler's office approximately 10 years ago when I had experienced a negative outcome from another dentist and I have been a faithful patient ever since that time, and have referred others to his practice as well. My family and I travel from Scottsdale for our dental visits, and we will continue. Dr. Butler is a professional that has the patient's best interest in mind. He is personable and takes care of business. The office staff have been with him for years! They are kind, polite and professional. That speaks volumes about Dr. Butler. Both Father and Son are amazing people that will not disappoint! I highly recommend Dr. Butler, once you have met the Butler family, you will know what I mean!
