Oral health effects many facets of our overall health, and can also have a major impact on self-esteem. I feel that having a healthy smile is one of the best gifts we can give ourselves and I love helping people achieve their version of a perfect smile.
Following dental school, I completed an advanced education in general dentistry (AEGD) residency through the University of Washington. During this program, I collaborated on complex treatment cases with some of Washington's most experienced and respected clinicians.
I met great dentists who have become lifelong mentors and friends. After I completed my residency program, Ryan and I got married, moved to Omak and worked together at Family Health Centers treating Okanogan Countys most vulnerable underserved families.
I am so happy to be settled back in Eastern Washington (Wenatchee), close to family and surroundings that I love! I am the proud mom of Jack William and Natalie Anne and am very much looking forward to raising them here in the Wenatchee Valley.
Growing up in Buckley, WA, my first professional aspiration was not to be a dentist. Actually, all I wanted to be was a logger. I dressed up as one for Halloween when I was five, six and seven years old. I had a toy chainsaw, hardhat, the whole kit.
After graduating from UPS with a BS in Chemistry, I spent a yearlong sabbatical at Alta Ski Resort, where I sold tickets part-time and skied full time. Refreshed from a year off, I followed Dr. Janie East, attending dental school at the University of Pittsburgh.
Albert Schweitzer said, 'Life becomes harder for us as we live for others, but it also becomes richer and happier. Over time, my understanding of that quote has become deeper, especially after marrying Dr. Janie and having a family of my own.
Devoting my time, love, and energy to the three of them has helped me grow tremendously! As a dental clinician, I've grown more patient and understanding. I strive to meet my patients where they are, not where I think they should be. I spend much more time listening and trying to understand what they want and how I can help them achieve it.
I see it as my job, and the job of our team, to teach each and every one of our patients how to take such good care of their teeth and gums, that they never need any dental work outside of routine check-ups. I'm excited to meet you and learn how I can help you!

The entire staff at cashmere family dentistry is beyond PHENOMENAL! The ladies at the front desk are always so kind and understanding. I have severe dental anxiety, and I am embarrassed of my teeth and how long it's been since I've been to a dentist. The ladies at the front desk, the hygienist, the dental assistants and both Mr. and Mrs. Busk are beyond kind, gentle, compassionate and they do not make you feel judged or embarrassed! They have gone above to accommodate my needs and make me feel calm and comfortable while getting the much needed work I need done! I absolutely LOVE this dentist office! They are a compassionate and wonderful staff

Great place to go I actually relax when I get my teeth cleaned and enjoy the hygienist she is the best. I have not liked going to the dentist but I am comfortable going her as much as I dislike going to the dentist. I recommend them.

I have been looking for a dentist who would understand me and the huge anxiety that I have when I go to a dentist they took the time to listen to me made me feel very comfortable . I love a dentist who will laugh with you and make you feel more comfortable. Highly recommend them.
