Carol can be found in the front office. She can assist you with most of your needs when you call or visit the office. Carol has over 10 years experience in the dental field as a patient and insurance coordinator. She is certified in Medical Billing and Coding and has a degree in Marketing.

Tearsa first began working with Bushnell Family & Cosmetic Dentistry as a consultant/trainer for matters involving the complexities of dental insurance plans. She has many years of experience as a consultant in those matters. After recognizing her talents and her leadership abilities, we offered her a position on our team as our Team Leader which she accepted.

Brey is a returning team member to Bushnell Family & Cosmetic Dentistry. She has earned her Expanded Functions, Certification in Radiology and Phlebotomy along with her Bachlor's Degree in Business Administration. Brey has over 12 years in the dentistry field combining her clinical and administrative skills. She was born and raised in Bushnell, but did reside for a time in Italy.

When Brey is not working, she enjoys traveling, reading, spending time at theme parks with her Son, Gabe, and her 'bonus kids' Savannah and Dalton. She also enjoys anything on the water - including boating and fishing.

Zelda is our Practice Administrator. Prior to joining Bushnell Family & Cosmetic Dentistry, Zelda had over 13 years of management experience. Since joining us, Zelda has completed the training program at the E4D University in Dallas, Texas for the design and fabrication of porcelain and resin dental restorations. Zelda is the organizer and director of our 'Give Kids A Smile' program. During this program, our office and many volunteers provide free dental services to children of need in the Bushnell area.

Prior to joining our practice, Zelda retired from JC Penney Company after 25 years of service. Her experience at JC Penney's included salon management where she managed a salon team of more than 35 individuals.

Darlene is the leader of our Dental Hygiene Department. She graduated from St. Petersburg College with her Associate of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. Darlene has been a licensed hygienist in the State of Florida since 1991 and in 2013 she earned her Certification to Administer Local Anesthesia. In 2017, Darlene completed a multi-day advanced oral health training program at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Prior to joining our team at Bushnell Family & Cosmetic Dentistry, Darlene worked with Dr. Novak in Hernando County, Florida. Darlene joined Bushnell Family & Cosmetic Dentistry within the first few months of its founding in 2005.

Emily graduated from Pasco Hernando Community College with her Associate of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. In 2013, Emily earned her Certificate to Administer Local Anesthesia. In 2017, Emily completed a multi-day advanced oral health training program at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Emily was born and raised in Dade City, FL and now resides in the nearby town of Brooksville with her husband and their three young children. Emily enjoys spending time in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and boating with her family.

As a member of our team, Carolyn has received training at both E4D University in Dallas, Texas and Glidewell Laboratories in Irvine, California for the design and fabrication of porcelain and resin restorations using CAD/CAM (Computer-Aided Design/Computer-Aided Manufacturing) systems. Additionally, while at Bushnell Family & Cosmetic Dentistry, Carolyn has completed multiple training programs at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies in Las Vegas, Nevada. Carolyn is a certified Trios trainer for 3shape Technologies and Henry Schein as well as a certified Phebotomist.

Carolyn and her daughter reside in Sumter County and enjoy spending time with their family and friends. Carolyn also enjoys trips to the beach, boating, and other outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing. Carolyn was born and raised in Sumter County.

Gina is one of our Bilingual dental assistants. She obtained her expanded functions dental assisting certification from the Dental Assisting Institute inPinellas Park, FL. Gina also has a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. Gina is also certified in radiology and CPR.

Starlit loves spending time with her 7 month old daughter Lyla. She has 1 dog, named Opi. She has been an assistant for over 5 years, almost 6 now total. She was born in Citrus County, but raised in Sumter.

Morgan is a native Floridian as she was born and raised in Clermont, FL. In her spare time, Morgan enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids. They enjoy anything outdoors, but especially 'mudding' and boating.

Katie has earned her Associate of Arts at Lake Sumter State College, her Associate of Science at College of Central Florida, and her Expanded Functions dental assistant certification. She is also certified in CPR, first aid, and bloodborne pathogens.

Katie was born and raised in Webster, FL and currently resides in Bushnell, FL. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her dog, Jake. She enjoys collecting and arranging succulents and cacti.

Alisha recently moved back to Sumter County from Alabama where she lived the past 7 years. Prior to working for Dr. Novak she was a dental assistant in Alabama for 4 years, and is certified in radiology, CPR, and Phlebotomy. Her Favorite thing about dentistry is helping patients feel better about their smile. Alisha loves spending time with her dog, Sage, and her family and friends. She loves any outdoor activity. Some of her favorites are riding horses, hunting, fishing, and soaking up the sun at the beach. Carpentry is one of her special talents. Alisha enjoys live music and loves dancing, so dont mind her if you see her dancing or singing in the halls.

Dr. Mousa was raised in New Jersey right across the river from New York City. He attended the New Jersey Institute of Technology where he received toth a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering anda Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering. Dr. Mousa graduated with honors from the prestigious New York University School of Dentistry, ranked as one of the top 10 dental schools in the world. Additionally, Dr. Mousa was a researcher at boththe University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey and the Department of Biomaterials at the New York University College of Dentistry.He has completed research and published scientific articlespertaining todental implants, periodontal regeneration and grafting.
