Dr. Brian J. Burton was raised in South Jordan, Utah. After serving a mission for his church to the Philippines, Dr. Burton attended Brigham Young University, where he graduated with a degree in zoology.
After completing dental school, he finished a two-year graduate program with aspecialtyin orthodontics and facial orthopedics at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. During this residency, Dr. Burton also completed a masters degree in oral biology.

I have been working as a scheduling coordinator since 2005 and enjoy getting to know our patients and watching their perfect smile be created. I am grateful to be a part of such a fabulous and fun team here at Burton Orthodontics.
I was born and raised in Grand Junctionwhere I met my amazing husband. We have two wonderful daughters and an awesome grandson. Together as a family, we are very active in archery, rodeo, and 4H. I enjoy fishing, hunting, hiking, riding horses, and being in the great outdoors with family and friends.
I am a native Grand Junction girl, born and raised! I attended the University of Colorado-Boulder where I earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration. I am married and have three wonderful children. We love to do things as a familysuch as traveling, swimming, and playing sports. I enjoy running, reading, and spending time with my extended family and friends. I feel blessed to be part of the awesome Burton Orthodontics team!
I attended Mesa State College (now Colorado Mesa University),received orthodontic training on the job, and have been in the profession for over 36 years. It is an awesome pleasure to bea member of the Burton Orthodontic team! It has been a wonderful experience working in a profession that helps to change peoples lives through their beautiful smiles.
I am blessed with a wonderful husband, Steve, and two very active daughters, Sophia and Sadie, as well asour family toy poodle, Max. We stay busy watchingour girls in year-round sports: soccer, basketball, and skiing. My passion is watching our girls grow and learn. I also enjoy cooking, gardening, golfing, fishing, four-wheeling, and spending time at our cabin.
Ive lived in Grand Junction my entire life, and now, along with my husband, I am raising our three wonderful children here. I love watching my kids participate in sports like volleyball, basketball, and baseball. We also have two dogs that keep me on my toes!
I have been in the dental field since 2003 and orthodontics since 2009. I am a Colorado native but lived in Houston TX for the last 17 years until moving back to GJ in October 2018. I am looking forward to enjoying the outdoors here in beautiful Colorado. In my free time I also enjoy helping people feel their best through massage therapy.

I have been in the dental field since 2003. I enjoy working with Burton Orthodontics and making smiles great. I was born in Washington state and grew up in Grand Junction. I have three daughters and two grandkids. I like being outdoors, fishing and hiking. I also enjoy movies and being with family and friends.
I began my journey in Orthodontics in 2001. After 14 years, I took a detour as an assistant in oral surgery for 4 years. While I enjoyed that very much, I have always loved the satisfaction of helping patients down the path to a beautiful smile and I am so happy to be back in orthodontics as a technician here at Burton Orthodontics.

We also want you to feel comfortable and confident throughout your entire orthodontic experience, and our practice is dedicated to making sure that you receive the quality care you deserve.
Orthodontic appliances are made of metal, ceramic, or plastic. They may be removable or they may be brackets bonded to the teeth. By placing a constant, gentle force in a carefully controlled direction, braces slowly move teeth to the proper position.
Gone are the days when a metal band with a bracket was placed around each tooth. You can now choose clear or metal brackets and, in some cases, the color of your appliance. Wires are far less noticeable, and the latest materials are designed to move teeth faster with more comfort. Today, any age is a great age to wear braces!
Treatment time varies and can last between one and three years, depending on several factors including age, treatment method, and how minor or severe your case is. A big factor in a successful treatment is you! The more involved and diligent you are, the more efficient your treatment will be. For children, receiving interceptive or early treatment can also help provide a quicker treatment time.

Wonderful service :) I was on vacation and ran out of rubber bands, I walked in and the staff was so kind, they were able to find the right size of rubber bands and gave them to me!

Do not go here!! They have very poor service and are expensive. They moved my teeth way too fast and my teeth were sore for over 2 weeks every time they adjusted the metal wire. They are in this business just for the money, they are not looking out for the customers best interest, witch is protecting there gums and making sure they have a great smile. Since they moved my teeth so fast I now have receding gums and will probably half to get gum tissue grafting surgery. Beware this is not the place to get braces!

Dr. Burton did an amazing job on both my boys. My second child's teeth were such a mess, and they look so much better I can hardly believe it. This office is courteous, friendly and professional. The grand valley is lucky to have Dr. Burton!

Completely blown away with the service i was provided today! The hospitality this team has is remarkable and i can not say thank you enough! I couldn't afford a lot in an emergency situation with a permanent retainer and they went out of their way by fixing it for free even though this was the first time i have ever been to this office, as my ortho is utah. Again, thank you so much Mr. Burton and all the staff!

I have been taking my daughter Kylece to Dr Burton for months now. Dr Burton and his entire staff including the receptionist are professional and very friendly. My daughter thinks that are the best. Such a pleasure to visit an office like this.

Dr. Burton pays careful attention to the needs of my children. I've brought them to him since they were very young to see when they would be right for braces. He does not recommend treatment unless it is needed. He and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable, festive and fun. Dr. Burton has our business until we have no teeth left to straighten!

Through my whole ordeal with braces went fairly well. I'm done now and I just need my retainer checked periodically. Everytime I go in for that, the girls are standing around talking and they don't call me. I'll be there first and someone else walks in and they take them. Is it because I'm an older lady and think I'm waiting for someone. They don't even call my name. Well I hope my teeth stay straight, because I'm not going back. I'm disappointed and hurt. Now, I can't follow through to the end.
