Dr. Matt was blessed to grow up in Harney County. After completing his dental training and having spent some time abroad in college, he gratefully returned to the tranquility of the High Desert to join his father and mentor, Dr. Bauer at his Burns dentistry practice.
With a keen interest in helping replace missing teeth, Dr. Matt was able to focus his dental training on the technology and techniques to help patients with completely or partially missing teeth as well as all other general dentistry services. As a native of Harney County, the unique benefits of taking care of this community are ever present in the mind of this care provider who finds that calling on patients to find out how they are getting along does not usually require a phone call. A trip to the local hardware store, a meal at a local restaurant, an event for local youth, or even the county fair are great places to check on the smiles of the finest patients in the world.
