Daniel Burnsattended Michigan State University for 4 years, prior to entering the University of Detroit School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. To stay up on the latest techniques, trends and products in dentistry, Dr. Burns attends extensive continuing dental education courses throughout the year.
In 1987, Dr. Burns began practicing dentistry with his father, Dr. P. J. Burns,in his Waterford office. In 2010, Dr. Burns moved the practice to the Munk Professional Building on Clarkstons Main Street.

I'm 57 and have been with this practice since my first visit as a child. Dr did a great job on a recent filling.

Since I was a kid I've had issues with my teeth. Both parents had dentures when they were 32. I've been to tons of Dentists. Bad mood Dentists, I'm scared to work on you Dentists, I need a new Caddy Dentists, Highly recommended Awful Dentists...I could go on and on. I've even had a Dentist break a needle in a nerve Dentist. Worst thing ever!!!! Then this guy is recommended to me. First, his staff is off the charts fantastic! Leslie is so sweet and fun. Ashley is who assisted with me and she gets 50 stars for dealing with me. :) Best I've ever encountered, end all, period! She noticed every move I made that told her how I was doing. Thats not something you see anywhere anymore. Now the Doc. This guy is not your average Dentist. Not at all what I expected. He is very down to earth, doesn't babble on, answers every question you have, makes sure your good before he does anything. He's that "Do it right or Don't do it at all" kind of guy! I had literally given up looking for a good Dentist. I highly recommend Dr Burns if you have had any problems finding one of the good guys! He really is THAT GOOD! I'm so grateful for this entire office being the BEST you can find!!!!!!
